ABOARD THE PAPAL PLANE (LifeSiteNews) — In a novel in-air press conference with the head of the Church of England and the head of the Church of Scotland, Pope Francis repeated his remarks first made on January 25 about the need for an end to anti-sodomy laws.
Noting that some 50 countries have anti-sodomy laws, Francis said as he was returning from a six-day trip to Africa, “The criminalization of homosexuality is a problem that cannot be ignored.”
While the laws criminalize behaviors and not inclinations, Pope Francis conflated the two concepts in his remarks, saying of the anti-sodomy laws: “Persons with homosexual tendencies are children of God. God loves them. God accompanies them… condemning a person like this is a sin. Criminalizing people with homosexual tendencies is an injustice.”
Rt. Rev. Iain Greenshields, the Moderator of the Church of Scotland, which permits homosexual “marriage” in their churches, praised Francis for his remarks, as did the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, the lead bishop of the Church of England, which permits homosexual blessings in their churches. “I entirely agree with every word he said there… I shall certainly quote the Holy Father. He said it so beautifully and accurately,” Welby said.
In his January 25 remarks, Pope Francis said that the Catholic Church needs to be involved in the dismantling of laws that criminalize homosexuality and that the Catholic bishops of Africa and other places that have such laws need a “conversion.”
The Pope’s mounting pressure on Africa in particular comes at the same time as a heavy push from the West to have Africa embrace homosexuality. The pressure has come in the form of loans and grants being contingent on such moves.
African Catholic bishops, however, remain firmly in support of anti-sodomy laws that protect school children form LGBT indoctrination in classrooms and also protect society from pedophilia, bestiality, pornography, adultery, prostitution and other sexual perversions that destabilize society.

What is wrong with this guy? Nevermind. No need to ask.
Go ahead and let the camel get his nose under the tent. The U.S. did that and look where we are now.
Tell me, eye to eye, with a straight face, that he’s not a fag.
What a globalist jackass
The Pope’s real name is Ben Dover ?
I’m so old I remember when popes called for an end to the persecution of Christians.
“In these hours, above all, we ask God with insistence so that, after the great gift of Pope John Paul II, he will again give us a pastor according to his heart, a pastor who will lead us to knowledge of Christ, to his love and to true joy,” said the dean of the College of Cardinals today.
He was presiding over the Mass “for the election of the Roman Pontiff” before the start of the conclave to elect a new pope.
The cardinal, who for two decades had been prefect of the Vatican Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, concelebrated a solemn votive Mass in St. Peter’s Basilica together with 114 cardinal electors.
Many non-elector cardinals (older than 80), hundreds of bishops, the diplomatic corps, and thousands of faithful also attended the Mass.
In his homily, Cardinal Ratzinger referred to the maturity of the faith of Catholics and said that they cannot remain “immature in the faith, in a state of inferiority, as they run the risk of being tossed about and carried here and there by any doctrinal wind.”
“How many doctrinal winds we have known in these last decades, how many ideological currents, how many styles of thought,” he lamented.
“The thought of many Christians has often been tossed about by these waves, tossed from one end to the other: from Marxism to liberalism, to libertinism, from collectivism to radical individualism, from atheism to religious mysticism, from agnosticism to syncretism,” the prelate observed.
Cardinal Ratzinger added that, meanwhile, “to have a clear faith, according to the creed of the Church,” is labeled “fundamentalism.”
“And this while relativism, that is, allowing oneself to be led here and there by any wind of doctrine, is seen as the only behavior abreast of the times,” he said.
We are now witnessing the “dictatorship of relativism” which “does not recognize anything as absolute and leaves as the ultimate measure only the measure of each one and his desires,” Cardinal Ratzinger added.
Christians, however, have another measure, which is the Son of God true Man, the cardinal emphasized. Mature faith, he said, does not follow fashions and the latest novelty, but is profoundly rooted in “friendship with Christ.”
In his homily, which was received with prolonged applause, Cardinal Ratzinger also said that priests are here to serve, and must give fruit that endures.
In this connection, the cardinal cautioned people who wish to leave their mark in life; he said that money and buildings and books do not last as, after a certain time, “everything disappears.”
What “remains eternally,” he added, “is the human soul.”
I was going to use the camel’s nose’ metaphor before I saw your post. Nevertheless, we need to be clear: The ‘camel’s nose’ is the idea that homosexuality is ‘innate’ something you are born with and can’t help, like the color of one’s skin. There is no evidence for this and the church should condemn it not prop up faux ‘science’ in the name of ‘tolerance.’
Still protecting your lavender mafia in the Vatican, aren’t yah?
Pervert. Oath breaker. Pedo.
Putting this TWOT up as Pope was as bad as pretending that BeijingBiden was elected and then installing him into the WHouse.
Then why do they have to recruit?
I think you missed the point of that post. They have to recruit because people aren’t ‘born homosexual.’
Methinks it’s a TELL!
The current Pope was installed as another mouth piece for the globalist agenda. He is no man of God.
He’s an effing communist. It’s ironic we have a pope who doesn’t show any signs of Catholicism. Ironic and destructive.
Let my people butt f***!
Worse than a communist.. a Jesuit... heh..
(Then why do they have to recruit?)
True. That’s so weird.
It’s almost like they cannot reproduce so they have to recruit.
Very curious 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Tagline.
God is not mocked.
