The Bible isn't about paper, print, and binding.
It is about the Word, however that Word can be received.
In Jesus's day, Scripture was read to people in synagogue. The same thing is true until the printing press was invented (frankly, not too long ago in the scheme of things).
Anything that can be used to get people to hear the Word is absolutely wonderful and sacred!
I know the medium that carries the Word is irrelevant.
However, given a choice between a device and a book, I’ll take the book any day, for any thing, not just Scripture.
The Bible isn’t about paper, print, and binding.

Your point is well taken, but for many who can see to read, reading words on paper is a learned, comfortable means to obtain information and knowledge. Sadly, today many people don’t want to read anymore (perhaps too lazy) to gain knowledge or be informed.
Correct.
We are not, as the Muslims put it, "people of the book" - Jesus is the Divine Word of God. We are people of The Word, of Jesus the Lord, God and Savior
