Your point is well taken, but for many who can see to read, reading words on paper is a learned, comfortable means to obtain information and knowledge. Sadly, today many people don’t want to read anymore (perhaps too lazy) to gain knowledge or be informed.

I read the Bible every night in bed via Audible. If I wake up at 2 or 3:00 can't go back to sleep, I read it some more.

It's also available FREE on Youtube (see below).

If I had to use my eyes at the end of the day or in the middle of the night, I wouldn't be able to read for long.

BTW, reading Psalms or Proverbs in the middle of the night gives me the most peaceful feeling. Try it and you'll be convinced.
