Vigano was a Novus Ordo devotee, though. Unil too recently to allow for total confidence in a perfect conversion. Can he confess this, show adequate personal remorse, and thereby receive absolution? Time will tell
I have never heard a good, credible explanation of why an “ecumenical” council was necessary or even desirable in 1962. What was the pressing dogmatic or doctrinal dispute or uncertainty? Near as I can tell, there wasn’t one.
