WEST CHESTER — A Luzerne County pastor drew a lengthy prison sentence Monday in a child sex abuse case that involved his behavior from over a decade before when he had taught at a private religious school in Chester County. The incident for which Randy Lee Boston was convicted at a jury trial last year involved performing oral sex on a student at the West Chester Christian School in West Goshen, where he had taught fifth grade, and having the child perform oral sex on him. It took years before the victim was able to come forward and tell first his younger brother, then his parents, the West Goshen police, and finally a Common Pleas Court jury, what had happened to him when he was in first grade.
Judge Patrick Carmody praised the victim, now in his 20s, for his courage in confronting his past — even though he had struggled with those demons over the years as he tied to fight the memory of what occurred, suffering from alcohol and drug abuse and withdrawing from his friends and family.
“The fact that you survived this means that you can survive anything,” Carmody told the victim, who sat with his mother and father in the front row of the large courtroom where the sentencing took place. “It is something to build upon.”
On the other hand, the judge had harsh words for the 64-year-old Boston, who has insisted that nothing had happened between the young man and him, and did not apologize to the young man, now 22, for what had happened to him, when given the chance during the hourlong proceeding.

This is what you get with an ethic of "consent."
It happened to the boy when he was in the first grade.
Twenty five years ago the youth pastor at our church resigned because he hired a young man who wound up doing this sort of thing.
Where do you find a robber looking for money? A store, bank, a Brink’s armored car.
Where do you go to find a low-level drug dealer? On a street corner at night in a bad neighborhood.
Where do you go to find a pick pocket? A tightly crowed area of course.
Where do you go to find a carjacker? A parking lot.
Where do you go to find child molesters? A place where there are kids.

West Chester PA. I knew because I have done a bunch of work around there, and drive past there every week in the Summer for volleyball.
