Pope Francis needs to focus on Christ.

Ha, we wish.
Sad to say it, but Bergoglio, called “a man sick for power” years ago by a nuncio, leaves the chair only one way... at room temperature.

And he would be replaced by... ?
If they havent agreed on a replacement and done a head count in the college of cardinals, strong likelihood theyre spitting into the wind.

Conservatives resign. Example: Benedict. Example: Newt Gingrich

Liberals usually don’t resign. They love power too much. So they tough it out.
Example: Bill Clinton

Unfortunately cardinals selected by Pope Francis may be a majority of those voting in the next conclave. And of course it was cardinals picked by John Paul II and Benedict XVI who elected Francis. So would the next pope be from the same mold as Francis?

“ The opponents of Francis know that right now they are in a minority, that they will need time both to win consensus and to weaken Bergoglio,” said the cardinal‘

Therefore the entire story is bogus made up nonsense.

Intriguing. Any potential plots would likely involve the various factions such as the Jesuits, the Knights of Malta, etc, working in secret.

Any specific contender in waiting? Vigano for Pope!

Someone asked on a Catholic call-in show Called to Communion a couple of weeks ago “Is it true that if a sitting Pope is well into dementia or for any other reason has such diminished mental capacity that he cannot rationally function, it is not permitted for any group at the Vatican to remove him?”

I don’t have the precise quote but Dr.David Anders on EWTN Radio replied: “No. No group or individual can remove a Pope for that situation.”
