Churches have remained publicly quiet for decades on the moral issues of the day so as not to appear too controversial or too political. As a result, public debate is often left to those without a biblical worldview. The consequences of this passivity have contributed to the unraveling of American civil society. It is well past time to end the silence.

The Progressive Elites talk endlessly about "democracy," but their intention is typically a ruse to implement a top-down liberal agenda. They allow normalizing pedophilia, trafficking children for sex, sexually grooming kids, encouraging transgender surgery for minors, and promoting unlimited abortion and gay marriage. These actions are all against God's purpose, as the Bible instructs us. While a few individuals and churches may be speaking out about these issues, their numbers need to grow to have any effect.

Churches are comfortable with business as usual at a time when we need to lean on God. People realize that things are not the same as they were just a few years ago, and they are looking for the Church to guide them, and many churches are silently playing it safe on these core moral problems in our country today. If the Christian community remains silent because we fear the repercussions of speaking out, are we living out our faith? Are we trusting in God?

In his compelling book, A Letter to the American Church, Eric Metaxas notes the frightening similarities between the contemporary American Church and the German Church of the 1930s.  Of course, the German Church could not have imagined what was coming in the years ahead.  Who would have imagined the Holocaust could have happened in an enlightened and advanced Western nation like theirs?

Read about lukewarm churches in a book. The typical church in America sure seems to fit the bill. According to what it reads, sure wouldn’t want to be them when that last day comes along. And neither should you. But....you know....can’t tell people what to do. They don’t listen anyway.

It’s time for the church to revert back to early church days breaking bread from house to house. Mega churches and denominations (for the most part) have fallen to Luke warm laidicean heresy.

You neglect to mention that if we are going to stand up for Christian doctrine in the community (against abortion and homosexual marriage, for Christian evangelism in the public square, etc.) we are likely to lose our careers, our bank accounts, our relationships, and eventually end up in lawfare.

The only reason people like Trump and Musk can get away with what they do is that they have enough resources, and don't give a damn what others think of them; church people tend to have neither of those gifts.

No church has ever lost its tax exempt status for taking a position on political issues or even for supporting a candidate. In fact, the government has never been willing to take such a case to trial. They know what the outcome would be and don’t want to create the precedent.

I was thinking along these lines recently. My siblings, older and younger have kids. My older siblings are grandparents and two of my younger sisters are also.

As far as I know they're all Bernie Bots. They think socialism is the bee's knee's.

And I had what I felt was an epiphany. Several of my nieces are public school teachers and their all woke. I thought to myself to warn my siblings saying "Someday, when you're no longer on this Earth, when we're gone your grandkids will be putting your children into box cars''.

My mom was nuts about him. She and Dad had a multitude of terrible fights about it - with him raging that LBJ was nothing but a crook and a killer. I thought Dad was in the wrong simply because he would get so angry. Dad would point out that the Democrats were changing history - for example, in saying that Lincoln was a Democrat. (Sounded ridiculous, but haha, he was right!)
