In a message sent to heads of state across the world, Pope Francis has asked leaders to reflect on what lessons can be learned three years after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Vatican released on Dec. 16 the pope’s 2023 World Peace Day message in which he posed a series of questions:
“What did we learn from the pandemic? What new paths should we follow to cast off the shackles of our old habits, to be better prepared, to dare new things? What signs of life and hope can we see, to help us move forward and try to make our world a better place?”
Pope Francis wrote in the message that “certainly after directly experiencing the fragility of our own lives … the greatest lesson we learned from COVID-19 was the realization that we all need one another.”
He added: “We also learned that the trust we put in progress, technology, and the effects of globalization was not only excessive but turned into an individualistic and idolatrous intoxication, compromising the very promise of justice, harmony, and peace that we so ardently sought.”
The pope underscored that “in our fast-paced world, the widespread problems of inequality, injustice, poverty, and marginalization continue to fuel unrest and conflict, and generate violence and even wars.”
“We cannot continue to focus simply on preserving ourselves; rather, the time has come for all of us to endeavor to heal our society and our planet, to lay the foundations for a more just and peaceful world, and to commit ourselves seriously to pursuing a good that is truly common,” he said.

And that our governments with the possible exception of all places of Sweden are against us and hate our civil liberties and will lock us down as much as we will tolerate. Some individual politicians excepted.
A lot of people learned how to go BAAAA!, and how to stand in line for their shearing.
What did we learn?
We learned to mistrust authority.
We did not need the “covid pandemic” to learn you are a phony popster and antichrist.
I thought the same thing, not to trust the government. President Regan had that right so many years ago.
Also, I was stunned to see how many Americans fell in line and began to turn on friends/family/neighbors. I trust my fellow Americans less, too.
Then again I learned who I CAN trust.
That you are not a true Christian.
Corruption, was the correct answer.
And people are disturbingly gullible. My mother is not a stupid woman. But she continues to assert that her shots, if they don’t keep her from getting Covid, will make it less severe.
I told here it’s possible but there is ZERO SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE of that, she continues to assert this total falsehood.
“What did we learn from the pandemic?” Pray for a new pope?
Oh, and
how comprised the church is. They shut their doors and just quit worship of the God of the Universe indefinitely based on the commands of pagan governors.
When “allowed” to reopen had to keep to ten at a time, no singing, blah blah.
Total government usurpation of the church, and I was more shocked at this than anything. I thought the Bible believing church would STAND.
I thought my church leaders would stand. They have since repented, officially. But what a crushing disappointment.
They collapsed in the main. Some notable exceptions, looking at you, John MacArthur. Calvary Chapels.
That Fauci is a liar and Bergoglio is his biggest sucker.
