Eight young girls who were forced to marry a Mormon prophet were found together at an Airbnb in Washington after escaping protective custody in Arizona.
Federal agents say the eight girls who ran away from group homes in Arizona late last month were found hiding out at the Airbnb in Spokane with one of their older sister-wives, Moretta Rose Johnson, 19, who is now facing federal kidnapping charges.
The girls, as young as 9-years-old, had been taken into protective custody by the Arizona Department of Child Services back in September after a whistleblower revealed how Bentley-driving Samuel Rappylee Bateman, 46, married up to 20 women and young girls, including his own daughter.
Authorities say he sex trafficked these 'young girls' between Arizona, Utah, Nevada and Nebraska.
He has been in federal custody on obstruction charges since his September arrest, which unfolded after Bateman was pulled over by cops while transporting underage girls inside a squalid trailer furnished with a couch and a bucket for a toilet.
None of the young girls have since admitted to federal investigators that they were sexually abused by Bateman, the head of a Mormon offshoot called the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, or FLDS.
But investigators found that in their journals, the girls would describe 'sleeping with Bateman, kissing him and touching him.' They now believe that the young girls were coached by some of the older wives not to speak with investigators.
Still, the girls are said to have remained in contact with their older sister-wives, who worked with Bateman to help them escape and 'bring them home.'

The underage ones, I get it. Hammer him.
But if 20 men decided to jointly marry one rich woman, would anyone be thinking they need to get “rescued”? We treat them like wide eyed waifs, unable to make grown up decisions, but insist they are exactly the same as men.
It’s a real disconnect.
How did he get the Bentley? Did he sell his young supposed wives over and over again? Sounds like a Bentley driving pimp to me.
Romney’s people? Mormons are often pious jerks, but there are some good ones.
They’re all brainwashed too. That Netflix documentary on Rulon and Warren Jeffs’ nutty sect (called “Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey”) shows exactly how bad...most of them actually don’t want to be rescued because they haven’t been taught anything else.
Bateman runs the FLDS? Since when? Warren Jeffs is still in prison but he’s also still in charge. This must be a splinter of the FLDS.
Given the FIB involvement, I do not trust this story, there must be more to it.
The FIB does NOTHING without some gain for the Deep State Cabal.
Nothing!
Reality has a nasty habit of exposing woke hypocrisy, doesn’t it?
Bleeding the Beast: The FLDS and its conflicting views about government
many religious sects are based on enslaving women....that’s how they get their followers....”hey guys, I’m a prophet and God says you can rape little girls”
Well it’s awful. I’m glad they got him.
It bother’s me that some out there will blame this on ‘religion’ and the belief in God. It is not that. Not at all.
Shouldn’t brother Rappylee be holding a seat in Congress?
So
FBI is attempting to polish their turd ?
To little
Too late
Doesn’t redeem their political skulldugery.
Glad the women are ok though.
Maybe the FBI could do the same for the underage sex slaves brought across the southern border .
These people are all sick and there is no cure for their illness. They should be imprisoned safely away from being able to harm another child.
I wonder what Bentley thinks of this article as they’re certainly being used.
Seems the word pederast should replace Bentley-driving.
Even married his own daughter.
Real class act there...
Is 'Rappylee' a common Morman name, or what?
Sadly true. Most so-called feminist women are quick to switch to "damsel in distress" mode when it suits them.
Just like mohammad.
