A missionary carrying a cross on his shoulder was arrested for getting into a fistfight with a Montana motorist after walking 5,000 miles across America.
Jesse Michael Boyd, 46, was with his two children and two other missionaries, 27-year-old Eric Trent and 20-year-old Cater Phillips, when the group got into a scuffle with a man in Cameron, Montana, on November 12 that led the missionary to pull out a gun.
The group had been on a journey from North Carolina to walk and drive to the Pacific Ocean to pass out a gospel-related book through Full Proof Gospel Ministries. They had passed through 17 states before the altercation.

Daily Mail is king of spin and sensationalist propaganda.
I imagine the man carrying the cross was ATTACKED, may have tried to defend himself.
It appears the US is entering the final chapter of inverting the blame of who is a criminal and who is innocent. Keep your powder dry.
It's only half that distance from North Carolina to Montana. Was he trying to emulate the Israelites' wandering in the desert for 40 years?
If he is walking across America, why does he have a car?
The same reason climate experts like j Fn kerry and ow gore own private jets?
Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
Walk in the populated places for exposure and drive across the rest.
Where did it say he was walking in a straight line? Or did you just assume it?..........Sheesh
Parking dispute...go figure.
You're probably right. But he was a missionary carrying a cross-country cross. Shouldn't he have turned the other cheek?
Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one. For I say to you that this which is written must still be accomplished in Me: ‘And He was numbered with the transgressors.’ For the things concerning Me have an end.” So they said, “Lord, look, here are two swords.” And He said to them, “It is enough.”
Luke 22:36-38,
He tells everybody he is walking.
But, he does not speak of his own Accord.
Exactly right.
Check Mapquest, friend. The distance from those two states is about 2,300 miles. Not a "straight line" as you accuse.
Doesn't matter how many cheeks he turned, sometimes it is simply time to draw.
Read the article friend, it says they've walked thru 17 states............
You're the one who questioned the mileage, not me.
A lot of people doing stunts like this have “support vehicles” following them to carry food, water, or for medical emergencies, etc.
Lol!
