As the Vatican tries to patch up the Global outrage over its appointment of a pro abortion atheist, revealed first by Catholic Arena, we can reveal that another of the Pontifical Academy for Life's class of 2022 has made public statements supporting abortion and contraception.
Professor Sheila Tlou is the co-chair of the Nursing Now Global Campaign and Global HIV Prevention Coalition.
Tlou has a history of advocating for contraception, abortion and policies wherein the fertility of poor people is linked to their poverty.
In one tweet, she expressed support for unlimited access to contraception as an apparent solution to illegal abortion, presumably she may have been suggesting unlimitedaccess to abortion also.
A common theme in Tlou's career is calling for ‘sexual and reproductive rights for all’ and for an end to ‘illegal’ abortions, which naturally implies the benefit of legal ones.
She also made controversial comments about poverty and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
In 2019, Tlou was part of the World Health Organisation's External Review Group which published a Consolidated Guideline on Self Care Interventions for Health on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights.
Page 67 of the document states that ‘To the full extent of the law, safe abortion services should be readily available and affordable to all women’.
The Pontifical Academy for Life are unlikely to apologise for this appointment, just as was the case last week.
The milquetoast mafia of Anglo Catholic journalism have made themselves the defenders of low standards and of ignoring the cries of the People of God, all in the name of Synodality.
There are those in the church who expect us to take part in culture wars on behalf of the faith, while they appoint anyone and everyone for the benefit of their own worldly prestige.
Ping
*legalized abortion* = “legalized murder”.
Just because it’s legal, doesn’t mean it’s right.
How very Margaret Sanger of you
No just common sense. The dumber, the more dysfunctional and the more violence prone the more infants.
It's a group of academics, not clergy. So basically the usual suspects modulo the Catholic affiliation. As it might be the faculty of Fordham of some such.
The eugenist would agree with you
Eugenics is a fine idea. Look at ANTIFA or BLM mobs. Full of those who should never have existed. Look at the creatures Rittenhouse shot, Rosenbaum, classic, defective, pervert runt, Huber sub par vicious criminal and Grosscruetz, his very affect says vicious and subhuman.
It certainly does have clergy on it; and it’s led by a clergyman.
Yeah it’s great. Exactly what Hitler practiced
You truly are stupid. When your shallow intellect touches bottom play the Hitler card.
I’m not the one advocating killing whole populations of people
No, you just represent the pray and be holy mentality as those populations prepare to commit genocide on us. It exactly is the mentality of the Tutsi’s who even when knowing they were going to be killed prayed and were pious rather than fight back and try and kill some of the Hutu militiamen. Some of the defunct Tutsi’s are being considered as candidates for canonization which I am sure is of great consolation to their tribe. Maybe it really is, maybe they really are that dumb.
You are make ng assumptions based on nothing I’ve posted. You have No idea what I believe or how I act. Give it a rest
What is an ‘ng assumption’, something racist?
Depart troll.
This is a pro-life site. Appreciate it if you would not try to justify abortion while posting here.
Thank you, Jim Robinson!
