Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media.

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Isaiah 40:21-31 Do you not know? Do you not hear? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?

It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them like a tent to dwell in, who brings princes to nothing, and makes the rulers of the earth as emptiness. Scarcely are they planted, scarcely sown, scarcely has their stem taken root in the earth, when he blows on them, and they wither, and the tempest carries them off like stubble.

To whom then will you compare me, that I should be like him? says the Holy One. Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name; by the greatness of his might and because he is strong in power, not one is missing.

Why do you say, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel? “My way is hidden from the Lord, and my right is disregarded by my God”?

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

Lord, We thank You for who You are, that You are sovereign, that You indeed have everything under control, and that You are moving Your plans forward. We know that Your word promises a resolution to all that is going on around us these days. From our perspective, things look pretty hopeless and discouraging. Please continue to remind us of Your personal interest in each and every one of us. We thank You for Your exceeding great and precious promises that You have made us in Scripture that we can depend on. Bring them to mind as we need them.

Father, we are especially concerned about the injustices we see happening around us. Instead of a nation of laws and justice, laws are being ignored and justice is being perverted; innocent people are being arrested and persecuted and criminals are being set free and encouraged in their criminal activity. Please correct this by removing from office those who will not obey those laws and who work injustice. Please replace them with godly men and women with strength of character to stand against the forces of evil. We specifically ask that You would bring to nothing any government agencies which are being turned against the people they are meant to serve. Protect innocent people from being wrongly accused and arrested and mistreated.

The prophet Habakkuk experienced situations like we are and yet at the very end he was able to rejoice in You.

Habakkuk 3:17-19 Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. God, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the deer’s; he makes me tread on my high places.

Let this be our attitude as well. Thank You for the victory we have in Christ Jesus.

are acts which fill us with alarm and foreboding. Please help
us reach the destination in order that we look upon a united
nation, freedom of thought and spirit once again.
