A five-year-old girl was kicked out of a Louisiana Christian school because administrators said her lesbian parents didn't fit with the school's values.
Zoey Parker, 5, got the boot from the Bible Baptist Academy in DeQuincy, just two days before she was due to start kindergarten there.
Her parents, Emily, 28, and Jennie Parker, 31, a same-sex couple who have been married since 2016, said the school's director and pastor called them suddenly into a meeting on Saturday.
'They informed us that Zoey wouldn't be able to go to school there anymore because of our lifestyle choices,' Jennie, told KLPC.
Zoey - who is Emily's niece, and whose father died in 2020 - previously attended the school for pre-K, but after the Parkers adopted her this summer, Bible Baptist Academy said they were no longer interested.
The Parkers first shared their story in a Facebook post, and since then they said the community support they received was overwhelming, saying numerous Christian schools in the area reached out to say Zoey would be welcome there.
Zoey was finally enrolled in one of those schools, starting at the Hamilton Christian School in Lake Charles this week.
'There are good Christians out there. The whole community of DeQuincy has showed us what it is to be a good Christian and to not preach hate like this,' Jennie told NBC News, 'They are the reason why we kept faith.'
Zoey's father was killed in an industrial accident at work in 2020 when he was just 22. Her mother is also no longer in her life, it is unclear why, and on August 3 Emily and Jennie officially adopted her.
'She lost her father, she lost her mother, and now she's losing her school, which she loves very much,' Jennie said.

She’s a pawn in the sick twisted lesbian parents game.
I agree with what the position that the school has taken, even if it’s not the best for the child.
What will the school do if it comes out that one of the parents of another student are - say having an extramarital affair? Will they ask that child to leave as well?
This is from the DM.
The DM has an agenda.
Lets hear the school’s side of things before we decide they punished the child.
It’s the younger lesbian’s niece. They adopted her after her brother died suddenly in 2020.
That’s right. My wife and I sent our kids to a K-12 private Christian school. We both had to profess our Love and dedication to Christ.
The school has an obligation to the other students. There’s a big difference between the girl being in a foster home and the adoption situation.
These women are claiming that they are a family. They aren’t and the school is rightly shutting off an avenue of them strutting their perversion before the other children.
Yep, they ain’t seen any hate yet. Remember, it is a fearful thing, to fall into the hands of the living God.
All I can think of, is Jude 7.
Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
I feel sad for her.....never to have a real mom or a DAD!
Agreed.
Private school, their rules.
**********
To an extent. It’ll be interesting to see what the outcome is.
It has ties to federal, state and local rules would be my guess.
Just moved my kid out of a Christian school that was invaded by Marxists and queers.
Good.

Smart. You may have saved your child from trauma, to say the least:

Hey queers, keep your flies closed.
LOL! This is a great exposition on why gaywads shouldn’t be allowed to adopt children.
With homos, it’s never about the kid, it’s always about THEM. The unfortunate child’s wellbeing and nurture are always at best secondary considerations.
If the two women really cared about the little girl, they would check with the school first to find out if their lifestyle is going to be a problem. Duh. But of course they didn’t, they just barreled ahead with their plan to own the Xtians.
I agree with those who posted saying the school is being targeted. Yes, it is. Good Christians will take pity on the child and do what they can to help, but validating the demands of narcissistic, attention-wh0ring lesbos helps no one.
Note: Gaywads can be good Christians, even excellent Christians. But being a good Christian isn’t about making you comfortable with your sins - it’s about trying to reject sin and live a sinless life. None of us is perfect. We are all sinners in one regard or another. If we make an effort to reject sinfulness then - of course - we stop doing various things that we KNOW are WRONG.
Trying to force others to be okay your homosexuality, that would be a sin. Maybe you’re never going to start squeezing boys, maybe being married to a man and having babies with him isn’t for you - that’s fine, but it’s not a stopping point.
It would be like me saying, “I know my smoking and drinking are sinful, but I’m not hurting anyone but myself, and I’m not strong enough to quit, and I’m sure Jesus is okay with it! So I’m not going to stop! In fact, I’m going to brag about my smoking and drinking and force everyone to be okay with it, and....” Hm...... this is pretty much what I do all the time, anyway.....
Jesus: *sarcastically* Surprise!
Me: *pious voice* You know I’m trying!
Jesus: Trying to set a record.
Correct headline: “Two radical anti-Christian lesbians gin up fake outrage using young girl as bait.”
Sounds like these two women, heretofore, have been surrounded by enablers. Seriously...an enabler is not your friend.
>Just moved my kid out of a Christian school that was invaded by Marxists and queers.
Exactly — this was their purpose. Not to raise the 5 year old well, but to subvert Christianity and Christian institutions using children as weapons.
The attempt alone is reason to remove the child from their care.
Will the parents be having sex in front of the students? No, but the lesbians will be flaunting their “marriage” in front of the kids.
I’m sure the school recognizes that all have sinned and fall short, but allowing blatant sin to continue in unrepentant full display each day (homosexual relationships) in front of the children would be unacceptable.
“In an update to her Facebook post, Emily wrote that the school was telling people Zoey was barred from returning because the Parkers declined to sign a beliefs statement that agreed their home was free of ‘harm.’
Emily said that no such a form was ever presented to them.
‘There was no paperwork or opportunity given to us. How could we have refused to sign something never presented to us. We might have signed it!’
‘I am sorry for all the turmoil that has quickly risen but this was never about my marriage. It was for my girl.’
The Bible Baptist Academy could not be reached from comment.”

Some very practical thoughts in your Post 26 and particularly this comment when you referred to a different case…. “What saved the school last time, was their pre-announced *audio and *video recorded briefing and parental contracts signing with the church and school.”
It seems to me that when the school reflects on this entire situation, they will recognize that “an ounce of prevention saves a ton of problems”… although it is possible that they may feel they did all that was necessary since the article does say “The pastor met us in the meeting room and started talking about gender identification, and that they teach the words of the lord, and that marriage is between a man and a woman…..We’ve never been confronted so bluntly about our relationship,’ she said.”
If the school had a well put together and carefully worded package of literature, videos, interviews for the parents (or responsible caretakers) that was completely consistent with their Christian statement of beliefs and it was mandatory that all who make application for registering a child were required to sit through a series of sessions that dealt with subjects such as ‘God’s plan for marriage, what Christian doctrine teaches as far as the raising of a family’ etc etc AND at the end of it were required to sign off on a statement that they fully recognized and accepted that those principles of belief were going to be taught, I don’t believe there is any way that this would even become an issue. God speaks to the heart and I’m oft reminded of Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” The lost can have all kinds of persuasive information presented to them but at the end of the day, none of that matters if the Word of God is not there.
Whether a church, school, business or any vocation in life, God wants Christians to live their lives following the pattern of Jesus Christ. That means being very bold… and Christ never backed down from calling people a ‘generation of vipers’ if the situation warranted it. Of course, neither should the school back down and it appears they won’t. However, Christians always need to keep it in mind that our mission is to bring the lost to Christ by our words, deeds and the example we set. 1 Peter 2:9
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.” So… with this in mind, one can take the legalistic approach and tell the two women that “these are our rules and that is all there is to it.” Or they can present the gospel of Jesus Christ to them and let the ‘sharper than a two-edged sword Word of God’ do its thing…. and at that point, the women have a decision to make…. they will either renounce the path of life they’ve taken and they also will become followers of Christ or they will voluntarily withdraw the application on their own accord since the darkness within them won’t be able to stand being around those who have the light of Christ in them. Christians need to live their lives with the confidence that if they do their part, God can do the rest and convict the hearts of the lost.
Which faith is that? Not the one that is taught in the Bible, it would not appear.
