I urge, then, first of all,
that requests, prayers, intercession,

in all godliness and holiness.

Heavenly Father –

As the anniversary of V J Day on August 14 -15, 1945, may we remember Your grace as a nation when we were united against evil on two fronts.

There was no other option but total victory. This fight was a fight with moral clarity where we were all in and had given it all we had.

We confess we’ve lost our way since then…over 75 years ago. We have prospered but decayed from within. We got our eyes on the world and have lost sight of You.

And this snapshot captures the decay since 1945:

May our eyes and hearts be opened. May we discern with all our senses:

Give us a heart of repentance. May Your people returned to Your Word. Fill us with the Spirit to revive us and produce good fruit. May we be salt and light and bring the hope of the Gospel in these dark days of decay.

And as a people, may we return to the faith of our Founding Fathers, who put their trust in You:

Lord, our trust in our institutions has been eroded. It illustrates to us that You are all we can really cling to. God alone. Not family or friends. Not our leaders or first responders. Not our religious leaders or our doctors. We didn’t know it, but we were always in Your hands, no matter our plans. We have never been as aware of that as we are now. We put our trust in You. Let every American be aware of You, worship You, and unite himself to You.

Jesus, I trust in You. No matter what happens, Your plan for each of us is perfect. We may feel alone, but we are not alone. You are with us, until the end of time. Hold me and my loved ones and open our minds, hearts, and souls to Your Presence. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen

FATHER, our elites and selected officials are becoming
bolder and more ignorant in disobeying Your Laws, the original
laws of our land. They have turned on Your Children, stripping
from us Liberty, Freedom of religion, opportunities to defend
ourselves from thieves and those who would do us harm.

FATHER, please show mercy toward us all before we succumb to
their lies and eventually lose our nation, our way of life.

We pray You open the minds and hearts of citizens,
shining Your Light in order they might see the reality
behind the deceptions. We pray it is not too late;
that You can still hear the prayers being offered
in order to save us from our stupidity.

Thank You for all things, great and small.
