The Chosen has excellent actors and actresses, which carried the series very well through two seasons. But two characters named Mary are already out of gas. Mary of Magdala is spent because 1) her stupendous level of vice was vastly underplayed, and 2) her deliverance from seven demons took place too early in the arc of the screenplay and was depicted as having taken place entirely out of the public eye rather than smack dab inside the home of a highly put out Simon the Pharisee, and the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God is already irretrievably stuck in time because 1) she needed to be the most beautiful woman one can posdibly imagine with an apparent age no greater than 33 but is played by an actress made up to appear every minute of 50 and barely as attractive as worn shoe leather, and 2) she is unavailable for a gradual and grace-filled elevation above all other humans before our very eyes leading up to Pentecost because Mr. Dallas, the author producer director, is an apparently unreachably separated brother who can’t afford to confess Mother Mary’s utter freedom from all sin by means of a singular grace of Christ crucified, reaching back in time to the moment of her miraculous conception in the womb of her mother Anne (circa 14BC or so).

There’s no Scriptural record of Mary Magdalene living a life of a stupendous level of vice. All Scripture tells us is that Jesus cast 7 demons from her. Any reports of her being a prostitute are untrue. There’s no indication of that from Scripture.

The portrayal of Mary, mother of Jesus that you present is completely without basis. She was not perpetually young, not sinless, and not to be elevated about other people. That is simply a fabrication for the purpose of deifying a normal human being.

"confess Mother Mary’s utter freedom from all sin by means of a singular grace of Christ "

You asked for it:

` In no place is a sinless Mary taught or required.

Departing from Scripture - which admonishes us not to think of mortals above that which written (1 Co. 4:6) which also applies to the unsupported claims of Marian exceptions to the norm, especially as seen in contrast to the manner in which the Holy Spirit makes significant distinctions of subjects evident in Scripture, from the age of Methuselah, (Gn. 5:27) to the strength of Samson, (Jdg. 4:4,16; 16:12,29,30) to the number of toes of the Philistine giant, (2Sam. 21:20), to the special diet of the Baptist, (Mt. 3:4) to Joseph being a just man, (Mt. 1:19) to the supernatural transport of Phillip, (Acts 8:40) to Jesus being sinless, which He is said at least twice to be. (2Cor. 5:21; 1Pt. 2:22) (2Cor. 5:21; 1Pt. 2:22) but Catholics must extrapolate out of texts things which do not teach it.

Nor does Scripture make Mary an exalted unique possessor of wisdom and knowledge whose heart souls are to devote themselves to.

It is be noted that my objection is not to Mary being honored as the holy chosen vessel to bring forth Christ, but to the excess ascriptions, appelations, exaltation, and adoration (and the manner of exegesis behind it), ascribed to the Catholic Mary, whether officially or by Catholics (with implicit sanction of authority).

Note that many Catholic Marian attributions much parallel even that of Christ:

For in the the Catholic quest to almost deify Mary, it is taught by Catholics*,

Mary was a holy, virtuous instrument of God, but of whom Scripture says relatively little, while holy fear ought to restrain ascribing positions, honor, glory and powers to a mortal that God has not revealed as given to them, and or are only revealed as being possessed by God Himself. But like as the Israelites made an instrument of God an object of worship, (Num. 21:8,9; 2Kg. 18:4) Catholics have magnified Mary far beyond what is written and warranted and even allowed, based on what is in Scripture.

More, by the grace of God.

At least you wrote apparently.

No need to try conjure up proof of Mary's sinlessness, as there is none; so let's just show how the Book Rome has assembled points out the rights and privleges of marriage

The Roman Catholic Church  has turned the beautiful, blessed lady of Scripture into an asexual, frigid Jewish wife; who withheld her favors from Joseph for no rational reason.

1 Corinthians 7:1-40 ESV

... each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.

The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband.

For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does.

Likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.

 Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer;

but then come together again, so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

I took the liberty of highlighting the lies.
