Savannah Bishop Stephen Parkes, Georgia, has issued July 15 guidelines for the Roman Rite.
In April, he had asked the rigid Liturgy Congregation for permissions to celebrate the Roman Rite in several parish churches. A May response "allowed" a weekly Mass in one parish and a monthly Mass in three other parishes but only "until May 20, 2023."
The Mass in Savannah Cathedral will be cancelled in August. While it is possible that the Liturgy Congregation wanted to give permission only for one year, Francis made it clear that he wants to force all Roman Rite Catholics into the chaotic Novus Ordo.

I’m not Catholic. A couple of questions: is Roman Rite the traditional Latin service? And, why would the Pope not want that to continue?
As was the case in South America previously when the Jesuits went after the Latin rite, the church members went underground. And survived. Now its deja-vu all over again.
The pope has plenary power over the liturgy. When Pope Francis gone, maybe for decades) any Pope can undo this.Pray.

Francis is no longer a Catholic and he’s therefore no longer the Pope of the Catholic Church. He is, however, the head of the Conciliar Church established by the Satan Council (Vatican, 1962-1965). The remnant of the Church founded by Jesus Christ has been driven back into the catacombs, and is represented by the Tridentine communities scattered around the world. The faithful attached to those communities are ministered to by traditionalist priests who have refused to accept the novelties (and heresies?) of the Novus Ordo Conciliar Church. Francis, by the way, is the first (AND LAST) Jesuit ever to soil the sacred Chair of Peter!
Perhaps it is time for the Roman rite to go underground
