Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi will not be allowed to receive communion due to her staunch support for abortion rights, according to the congresswoman’s Roman Catholic archbishop.
San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone sent a letter on Thursday to Pelosi, D-Calif., a practicing Catholic, informing her that she had been warned to either “repudiate your advocacy for abortion ‘rights’” or “refrain from referring to your Catholic faith in public and receiving Holy Communion.”
“I am hereby notifying you that you are not to present yourself for Holy Communion and, should you do so, you are not to be admitted to Holy Communion, until such time as you publicly repudiate your advocacy for the legitimacy of abortion and confess and receive absolution of this grave sin in the sacrament of Penance,” stated Cordileone.

Do these Catholic Dems actually take communion? I never see where Biden is walking in to a church. A priest could be going to him I suppose.
On the other hand, 82 is about when many start taking that stuff seriously.
She will wish she started earlier.
Any bets as to how long it takes for someone higher up in the Catholic Church to over rule Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone.
They have not only went along with it, but have been some of the most rabid and vocal proponents, even up until and after the time of birth.
That not only flies in the face of Judeo-Christian doctrine, but of every moral religion on the planet. What they advocate and what the Nazis advocated isn't all that different. They just target different people and use different tactics. Well, maybe the tactics aren't even that different.
Actually they have. But that was rescinded. I can only guess that she asked for absolution and said she would mend her ways. Of course, that was never in her heart and she went about the business of killing babies. And it is a business and she gets campaign dollars from it.
I was very annoyed because this appeared in some news sources as “San Francisco priest bars Nancy Pelosi from Communion.”
He’s not just “a priest,” he’s the Archbishop.
Oh she will just buy a box of Saltines and grab a bottle of Merlot and pretend she’s in good graces.
After all these many years, FINALLY (as Canon law provides).

If she tries to take communion, it’ll be up to the priest saying Mass whether he accepts the archbishop’s order or not.
I can only imagine what "just a priest" is like in San Francisco. The Homily is probably presented as outdated fairy tales for all the fairies.
I have heard of some very serious penances. Don‘t ask me how I know, it‘s not me. But in this case she would have to go to confession to the Bishop and my guess is that she would have to spend a certain amount of time in a prolife center helping women figure out how to carry the baby to term. That would be interesting. She‘s a bit like Voldemort. Dumbledore said he could repent and in fact Harry offered him that option but oh my goodness so painful.
My question is whether it‘s like a Federal judge in Hawaii who can bind her in CA but also in DC.
She knows already. The issue is money and the money comes when she promotes evil. She chose evil. She knew what she was doing. The love of money and power meant more to her than her immortal soul. Or the innocent lives her evil has cost.
