How odd in this day and age for a Jew to pretend to be a Christian for the sake of social advancement!
"Ornata, Sophia" and whatnot.
It's the sort of thing we haven't seen in decades.
Nowadays, of course, and on Free Republic at least, the fashion is for Christians to pretend to be Jews.
"Yeshuah ha'Melech" and whatnot.
It is my personal belief as a Jew that the LORD is a good deal bigger than our organized religions, and is likely just as pleased to receive the thankful prayer of a Pope or a Rabbi in finery as He is to receive the prayer of a grateful, illiterate savage pondering the beauty of a seashell.
But what do I know?

I don't know President Zelensky's religious convictions. However, when Vladimir Putin, a former KGB official who owes his career to faithfully serving the atheistic Soviet state, invokes Orthodox Christian symbolism, I find his pretensions more offensive than Zelensky, raised in Judaism, invoking the same symbolism to encourage his fellow Ukrainians to fight..
Western Christian religion has the "just war" doctrine, from Augustine and developed in Catholic theology by Thomas Aquinas and among Protestants by Hugo Grotius. I don't know if Eastern Orthodoxy has a similar doctrine.
Aquinas set forth three principles of a just war:
First, the war must be waged upon the command of a rightful sovereign.
Second, the war needs to be waged for just cause, on account of some wrong the attacked have committed.
Thirdly, warriors must have the right intent, namely to promote good and to avoid evil.
Putin's invasion of Ukraine does not meet at least the second of these criteria. Re-establishing the USSR or the Tsarist Empire does not fall under any of these categories.

You are on a Christian Conservative site. Your mockery is not appreciated by the vast majority here.

He’s not pretending to be Christian.
Ukrainians are predominantly Eastern Orthodox Christians.
So he will wish them in the traditional way

Even India’s prime minister wishes Christian’s (3% of the population) a happy easter and to welcome the risen lord
