Lord Williams of Oystermouth wades into conversion therapy debate as No 10’s stance sparks boycott of its LGBT conference.
Lord Williams signed the open letter to Boris Johnson, along with senior clergy, including the Dean of St Paul’s, the Very Revd Dr David Ison; the Bishop of Buckingham, the Right Revd Dr Alan Wilson; the Dean of Southwark, the Very Revd Andrew Nunn; and the Dean of Manchester, the Very Revd Rogers Govender.
In the open letter, obtained by ITV News, they added: “To allow those discerning this journey to be subject to coercive or undermining practices is to make prayer a means of one person manipulating another.
“It is a wrong-hearted notion of care and a wrong-headed understanding of conversion. Every church should be a safe space that affirms people in being who they are, without fear of judgment. We see no justification for the ban on so-called ‘conversion therapy’ excluding trans people.”
The intervention of Lord Williams, who was Archbishop of Canterbury from 2002 to 2012, along with 13 other faith leaders, came after a string of U-turns by the Government.

What the heck? It seems that religious leaders are making an effort to celebrate all this LGBT and other letters which keep getting added.
Being transgender is a sacred journey???? A sacred or religious or spiritual journey of some sort???? Really????
Wow. Who knew, that you just haven’t lived until you’ve had your so called sex change operation and hormone shots. Who knew that religious leaders want you to get that surgery to become a spiritual whole.
It’s a crazy world.
And to think we were told that “gay” people just wanted to live and let live, just leave them alone to live their lives, etc. We seem to have gone far beyond all of that.
This does make some sense. Look at all the benefits you get when becoming a Trany:
1. You get to shower with the girls.
2. Hmmm. I can think of anything else.

The church is not without its own identity crisis.
Some say it’s the Male Body of Christ
Some say it’s the Female Bride of Christ
Some say it’s both
Not in a natural, sexual way.
But in a spiritual, governmental way.
Maybe the world having this identity crisis isn’t just a thing of the world.
It’s an opportunity for the church to evaluate itself.
Because if it’s a Spiritual Body of Christ, that Body has a role and work that comes to pass, that brings forth a hidden Bride, from within.
If the end times church is a Spiritual Bride of Christ, maybe it’s the Woman riding a Beast at the end, and not the perfect helpmate, but a whore..
Some woman is riding a Beast in the end times.
A whore. Mother of harlots.
A priestly adorned woman
Does the church know who that Woman is?
Because that doesn’t sound like the Bride
Maybe in that scenario, the church would prefer to identify as the Male Body of Christ..
