Only if the officiant asks whether anyone objects, and then cite appropriate Scriptures. /s

The author is correct. No one, Christian or not, should attend a same-sex wedding.

It's probably "OK", but why would you want to? Talk about a "gross out!!!"

No it's not - because you're identifying with a forbidden union ‘as a witness before God’.

I went to my wife’s daughter’s (by her first marriage).
Originally, I planned on going only in support of my wife. Then, I realized I had much stronger “ulterior purpose”.
I hated and cringed pretty much thru the whole of it, and we left out asap. But not before I got to pray a curse on it that it would break up and not last. Within 2 years, they went their separate ways.
I’m now praying for an Acts 12:21-24 event for pedoJoe and his merry band of evil ilk.

It’s not a wedding because it doesn’t lead to a marriage.

Why would you attend something that mocks God?
To: SeekAndFind
Let’s not call it a ‘wedding’. A couple of homosexuals standing next to each other in a farcical setting and taking oaths to continue their deviant relationship does not make it a wedding.

In traditional Christian wedding ceremonies (ie. everything for the last 2000 years until up to about 25 years ago) attendees at weddings are called to be witnesses of the union before God.
Your attendance at a “same-sex wedding” automatically gives consent and approval to the “union.”

My daughter had a lesbian lay pastor perform her wedding. I didn’t know this until the last minute. I felt uneasy and as far as I was concerned, the wedding didn’t count.

For the same reason, it’s not appropriate for a Christian to attend the wedding of one or both adulterers, without some extraordinary exception supported by Scripture. You would be celebrating what God condemns.
