Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

Our Father In Heaven,
Hallowed be Your Most Holy Name!
For Your Alone Are Worthy of Our Worship,
For You Alone Are LORD,
You Alone Are the True God!
You Are The Alpha and the Omega
The Aleph-Tav
The Beginning and the End
The Great "I AM"
With Your Most Holy Name
Your Declare Your Existence.
In The Face of an Unbelieving World.
You tell us, "I AM", "I Exist!" "Believe!".
Your Omnipotence,
Omniscience,
And Omnipresence are Declared in Your Name.

Let all that has been Concealed
Be Revealed.

Father, We Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Pray That You Will Forgive The Sins

and Lead us all to Godly Repentance.

and Renew a Right Spirit Within Us.

Colossians 4

18 I, Paul, write this greeting in my own hand. Remember my chains. Grace be with you.

I have an old-style flip phone. It is difficult to text on this phone because it has a small screen and tiny buttons. Each button has several letters on it, so texting requires scrolling through the letters. It takes forever to send a text, but this suits me fine, as I would prefer a letter, an email, or a real conversation. I have resisted getting a new phone because I don't want to get into the habit of texting people. I want to TALK to them. I guess I am an old fogey. But, as we see from the Bible, Paul was able to stay in touch without texting!

Paul concludes his letter to the Colossians the way he always does...with a prayer. He also includes a proof that the letter is from his own hand, by pointing out his characteristic handwriting. Paul not only wrote this letter with his own hand, butwith his heart.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

I was very reluctant to get a ‘modern cell’ too. But my job kept requiring pictures of items to be transferred in a moments notice, conference calls, and constant email checking and intertnet access. I had to ‘give in’.

Oddly, I came out much cheaper than my prepaid family flip-phones minutes. Beacuse we had to use them often. And many nice features too. Sometimes, I even forget I am now easily ‘tracked’.
