“The arrival of Messiah has been predicted every single year that I have been alive, which is more than 3 score and 10. May this be the year that Messiah comes!”
“If you’re planting a tree and you hear that the Moschiach has come, finish planting the tree first, then go and find out if he has really come.” IOW, there have been many claimants over the centuries, don’t disrupt your life (especially the religious aspects) when another one comes along (and if it is the real one, he will understand).

Sorry, Jesus was already here...you all missed it.
“The Messiah already arrived, 2k years ago.”
Note that talking about miracles allegedly performed by anyone has nothing to do with who is the Redeemer - evil people in the Bible had the power to perform miracles (as examples, Pharoah’s magicians emulated some of the Biblical plagues that G-d gave Moses the power to perform, and Balak’s sorcerer, Bilaam, was a a well known and powerful sorcerer and prophet mentioned in Numbers 22-24). So, if bad people can perform miracles, then merely performing miracles (assuming that they can be verified - and that’s a real stretch) by itself CANNOT be a test of being the Messiah or not.
Further, how can someone be the Redeemer if wars continued, if the Jewish Temple was destroyed and the Jewish people were scattered? The Redeemer is supposed to help bring about the opposite of these things - and the first century or so after Jesus lived was pretty much the definition of the complete antithesis of what the Redeemer will bring about. Furthermore, the dead will be resurrected, and there will be a universal knowledge of God and obedience to His Torah (including knowing and abiding by the 7 Noahide laws for those who don’t convert to Judaism - that’s their ticket to Heaven). None of these things occurred, NONE, not during his lifetime, not when he (allegedly) was resurrected, not in the 20 centuries afterwards.
The simple fact is that the very concept of a (or The) Messiah is a Jewish concept - there is simply no other religion that had such a concept until Christianity adopted it, and while Jesus was alive it was in conformity with Jewish tradition. Note that the concept of a “messiah” in general simply means one who’s head is annointed with oil as a sign that they are in the service of G-d. There were MANY messiahs by this definition, including all of the kings and High Priests of biblical Israel - and also including non-Jewish Cyrus the Great (Isaiah 45). Being a “messiah” doesn’t make one “The” Redeemer at all. Note that after Jesus’ life, his followers (mainly Paul) modified the concept quite considerably (among many other things that were also modified quite considerably)...yet conveniently Christian theology ignores the simple fact that Jesus failed on numerous grounds in the original source material regarding The Redeemer (i.e. the Tanach) to meet ANY of the very basic tests for being that Redeemer.
Proclaim LIBERTY Throughout all the Land unto all the Inhabitants Thereof Lev. XXV. v X.
"Liberty Bell" [פעמון הדרור] = 661 = Esther [אסתר], the 11th star number. "Esther" means star, as well as indicating that something is hidden (Hester).
Compare Israel [ישראל] = 541, which is the 10th star number.
They meet up as one because 541 (in base 10) = 661 (in base 9).
I know that when I want the truth, 9 is the "go to" address. Truth, it's the hub, where the revolution originates.
Here's a general overview of the concept (I'm using this page for this particular info not for any theology that might be in there but hey, some people are generally on the lookout to be triggered in any case, so what else is new):
In maths, quite extraordinarily, a number can only be divided by nine if its digits add up to nine, or a multiple of nine. For example, in the number 459, 4+5+9 = 18 which is a multiple of 9, and therefore we know it is divisible by 9.
The number nine (9) in kabbalah represents the truths contained in the Torah.>>>
TRUTH
9 = Truth in Hebrew.
The word for truth in Hebrew is Emet אמת The numerical value of each letter:
1 = א
40 = מ
400 = ת
Add the numbers 1+4+0+4+0+0=9
Or regarding "casting truth to the ground":
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casting_out_nines
541 and 661 as one:
541 + 661 = 1202 = the first three words of the Torah: "In the beginning God created"
As a lonely number: 661 - 541 (Esther without Israel) = 120
I had a thought earlier -- that if I had a rooster, I'd name him Greg.

If the Messiah believed in the settled doctrines, he'd never recognize himself. There's a reason for everything. It's all in the timing, As Seen on "TV", far vision:
"2022"
“I would like to hear the thoughts of more Jewish Freepers on this. We do live in interesting times.”
When the Redeemer comes, everyone will know it - there will be absolutely no doubters at all, as there will be universal peace, universal knowledge that the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob IS G-d, all of the Jews (including the 10 lost tribes) will be returned to Israel, the 3rd Temple will have been constructed (and be conducting sacrifices for the rest of our time on Earth), and the dead will return to life - physically, not just spiritually. I haven’t seen any of that lately (as in since the dawn of History), and don’t expect it to happen exactly when this guy predicts it will (though, of course, I hope for it and believe that it could happen on any given day - that is an article of faith among Jews).
Don’t know.
There are hints in the scriptures that there was going to be about 2,000 years distance between Israel being delivered by the Passover Lamb, and Israel’s entry into the Promised Land.
““Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.”
“Reminds me of hearing rabbi Daniel Lapin hosting a radio show and a caller started to make a reference to the “second coming” and stopped herself. She apologized profusely and rabbi Lapin very gently told the lady it was OK and not to worry. He said “all we disagree about is the number”... ha ha ha. That has stuck with me for over 20 years now.”
LOL.

Don’t forget, there will be a second coming.
It’s remarkable how it’s all falling into place just as we expected
Stinka-roonie. LOL

Redeemer is supposed to do away with free will? If people don’t want to do that which makes for true peace, give up sin, how is that the Messiah’s fault? Jesus spoke the hard truth, they stuck their fingers in their ears, ground their teeth and ripped their garments. If people want to be idolaters, worshipping themselves, their lusts, and their things, not exercising self-control, killing their babies, not forgiving and loving others, how is that the Messiah’s fault? A temporary false peace is coming, “Peace, peace, they say, then sudden destruction comes upon them and they will not escape”. The false peace will collapse as it’s not built on the Rock of Truth. I want the Messiah to tell me the truth, not tickle my ears, I want him to point out the shortcomings in my behavior. He can’t confirm me in Grace in a fallen world. Unrealistic to expect utopia in a fallen world. We wait for the kingdom of Heaven. Have we learned nothing the past two years? If you’ll only do what we say, things will be wonderful. They’re not. I know there are differences between the theologies of Judaism, Catholicism and Christianity, but I’ve never understood the idea that the Messiah will make everything wonderful without the need for the people to reform themselves by cooperating with Grace.
Check out Item C for a much better explanation than I can give on the issues you raised; for that mater check out the rest of the article for a good explanation of many other related issues:

Third times the charm? ;)
Besides, Elijah comes back (he even has a cup with his name on it waiting), and there's a lot of stuff out there about who is the gilgul of whom in order to rectify past sins and/or to complete that soul's mission. The total round-up; no soul's task left unfinished.
Well in any case, Jacob came out and said who it was when he told all of his sons to gather together. How many questions have been pondered on that point alone... e.g. did he know and obscure the info about the last days? Encode it in the blessings? Was the knowledge taken from him right then and there, or what? And so forth.
Makes simple sense:
1. And Jacob called to his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days: 2. Gather yourselves together, and hear, you sons of Jacob; and listen to Israel your father:

Speaking of Elijah,
There's a funny analog at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, England, named for Elias Ashmole. The museum got its start as the place for Elias' cabinet of curiosities.
A long way down the way, the Hill family donated the Messiah, the "Kinnor HaMashiach", the most valuable Stradivarius in the world. It's the only one in an "as new" state.
The name is part of the total ID proof package for the Master's master project. God always gets there first while no one notices outside all the theorizing, debating, and arguing.
Donated for preservation as "a yardstick for future violin makers to learn from".
Some here may recall that when the armies of Israel were at a 40-day impasse with the Philistines (because of a certain giant, Goliath of Gath the place named for a winepress no less), Jesse sent David to give ten cheeses to the captain of the thousand.
Thoughtful! You have to figure that the captain was really wringing his hands over the situation. Then Jesse had a great idea, to send him some cheese...
We shall see sounds great
Matthew 17:11-13
11 Jesus replied, "Elijah does indeed come, and he will restore all things.
12 But I tell you that Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him whatever they wished. In the same way, the Son of Man will suffer at their hands."
13 Then the disciples understood that He was speaking to them about John the Baptist.…
