No "Ecumenical" Prayer: Francis' Dreams Dissolve Into Thin Air
The Greek-Orthodox "didn’t want" an ecumenical celebration with Francis, Athen's Catholic Archbishop Theodoros Kontidis SJ, 65, told Aleteia.org (December 3).
He explains that for them a common prayer means full unity and they do not want to participate in it,
“Since there isn’t agreement on all points, they feel that one cannot pretend that the differences do not exist.”
