Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

Dear Father In Heaven,
How Hallowed is Your Most Wonderful Name!
We Love You With Our Whole Heart
With Our Whole Soul
With Our Whole Strength
And With Our Whole Being.
You Alone Are Worthy of Worship
You Alone Are The One true Holy and Righteous God.
Rock of All Ages,
Our Creator,
You Have Made Us,
and All That Is.

Let all that has been Concealed
Be Revealed.

Father, We Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Pray That You Will Forgive The Sins

Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

The Book of Nehemiah ends as it began, with a prayer. I am a little cautious about recommending Nehemiah's CLOSING prayer as a pattern, because, in it, Nehemiah lists his accomplishments. I can't think of any occasion when this would be appropriate, since we can do NOTHING without God. And yet, here it is. My clue to this puzzle comes from the whole rest of the Book, in which Nehemiah does not take a single step or make any decicision without prayer. And so, in this "boasting" prayer, Nehemiah is actually giving the glory to God.

The whole theme of the Book is seeking the guidance of God in each undertaking. Any attempt to "Build Back Better" is futile without God. What looks impossible is Possible with God...and ONLY with Him. It is not onerous. As Nehemiah said:

"The Joy of the Lord is Your Strength."

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
