Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

Nehemiah 4:4-6
4 Hear us, our God, for we are despised. Turn their insults back on their own heads. Give them over as plunder in a land of captivity. 5 Do not cover up their guilt or blot out their sins from your sight, for they have thrown insults in the face of[a] the builders. 6 So we rebuilt the wall till all of it reached half its height, for the people worked with all their heart.

Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

Dear Father In Heaven,
How Hallowed is Your Most Wonderful Name!
We Love You With Our Whole Heart
With Our Whole Soul
With Our Whole Strength
And With Our Whole Being.
You Alone Are Worthy of Worship
You Alone Are The One, True, Holy, and Righteous God.
Rock of All Ages,
Our Creator,
You Have Made Us,
and All That Is.
Let all that has been Concealed
Be Revealed.
Father, We Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Pray That You Will Forgive The Sins
of Our Own Nation,
and Lead us all to Godly Repentance.
Create in Us Clean Hearts, Oh LORD,
and Renew a Right Spirit Within Us.
This we Pray Together,
As We Await Your Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Set Up His Kingdom,
And Make All Things Right.
Let all that has Been Concealed,
Be Revealed.
God Bless America.

Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

In the Live Double Album "Babylon By Bus", Bob Marley sings these words:
"Whosoever diggeth the pit,
Shall fall in it,
Shall fall in it." ("Small Axe")
Bob Marley was a devotee of the Rastafarian Religion, which identifies with the Exiles in Babylon. It is neither Jewish nor Christian, but borrows heavily from the Old Testament. The line from "Small Axe", which is taken from Proverbs 26, states a universal principle of sowing and reaping. If you plant a thornbush, don't expect an apple tree to grow out of it!
The Eastern idea of Karma is not quite the same. Those who believe in reincarnation fear that evil deeds will come back to haunt them, but it could be in their next life. "Sowing and Reaping" is in the here and now, because:
"...people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment..."(Hebrews 9:27)
Jesus told us to love our enemies and pray for them. In my heart of hearts, I KNOW he did not mean that we should pray for our enemy's SUCCESS in their nefarious deeds. After all, God is Light, and there is no Darkness in Him. There is no way He would encourage evil.
How then, do we "pray for our enemies"? Like Nehemiah, we have countrymen, families, friends, and neighbors who deserve to be protected. We have boundaries that need to be preserved. We have a faith that needs to be defended. Nehemiah prays for Protection, but he also prays for Courage and Victory. He also prays that those who sow violence will reap it. And, armed with a sword in one hand and a trowel in the other, he continues to build the wall.
Perhaps the best way to pray for our enemies is to release them to the Father ask ask Him to change their minds. That kind of Prayer is a "Small Axe" but a very SHARP one.
Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
"He was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification." (Romans 4:25)
God Bless America.
Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Psalm 15
A Psalm of David.
1 O Lord, who may abide in your tent?
Who may dwell on your holy hill?
2 Those who walk blamelessly, and do what is right,
and speak the truth from their heart;
3 who do not slander with their tongue,
and do no evil to their friends,
nor take up a reproach against their neighbours;
4 in whose eyes the wicked are despised,
but who honour those who fear the Lord;
who stand by their oath even to their hurt;
5 who do not lend money at interest,
and do not take a bribe against the innocent.
Those who do these things shall never be moved.
