If we are not to use Latin any more, why does he use a motu proprio Traditiones Custodes to tell us?

Interesting that the traditional church will have to go underground to escape persecution from their own hierarchy....

A “crackdown” on historic liturgy? The Church will carry on just fine despite the attempt. Let the devils rage.

The Institute of Christ the King has poured millions in their main church on the South Side near U of C.

I’m not Catholic. I don’t understand the implications of this. Why does the language matter?

Relevant Radio discussed this issue this afternoon; the host said, I think, that Latin Mass is a good thing every once in a while, but people need to know what is happening in the mass so having it in the local language is good for the congregation. Sounded like a good Lutheran argument 🤔

Sounds like the Pope needs a crack force of specially trained assault priests to stop this trade in Latin masses and services.
By the way, what is the basic price for an indulgence these days? Can I purchase one from my local priest or do I need to see a Bishop or Cardinal? Does the Pope sell indulgence franchises?
