I somewhat disagree. Not that we AREN'T seeing a great apostasy now, but that you have to be somewhat in a Christian worldview BEFORE you can fall away from it. I seriously doubt the last two degenerations of those in the ECLU held even a minimal view of biblical Christianity. They are just mocking it.

Is Megan Rohrer really a male-to-female transgender as the article says?

I thought that “they were” a biological woman who “transitioned” into a “non-binary”, via hormones and surgery. But now I can’t find any article to answer that question!

And “are they” really an “archbishop”, as opposed to a “bishop”? YIKES!!!!

Remember—the only person in the Bible who was a “they” was “Legion”, whom our Lord exorcized of a legion of demons by casting them into a herd of swine!!!!

As weird as this story reads, I believe ELCA did more damage to itself when it declared itself in "full communion" with the usual suspects of liberal American Protestantism.

I do see that world at large, even the commentators on Christian Satellite Radio, believe that Lutheran = ELCA. It's a shame it's come to this, but perhaps the best thing LCMS and WELS could do for their reputation is remove the word Lutheran from their names.

I ended my Lutheran days as Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC). I completely understand. The smaller, more orthodox bodies are tarred by the big brush of ELCA.
