Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them. (Ezekiel 38:1-7)
In our last article, I pointed out what I believe to be the significance of the recent debacle in Afghanistan. In my view it is aligning the nations in order to fulfill the prophecy of Ezekiel 38, of the Beast army which will form and march across the Euphrates river, and which will be the catalyst for the horrors of the book of Revelation to befall the earth.
Iran (Persia), Turkey and the Turkish “stans” of the Caucasus, ( Magog, Meshech, Tubal, Gomer and the house of Togarmah), Ethiopia,(Somalia and Sudan), all have this in common, they are in the grip of Islam. Islam is the sworn enemy of Israel, and throughout the Muslim world, the destruction of Israel is part of the Eschatological narrative. In more than one Hadith, Islam insists that “The Last day will not come until the Muslims wipe out the Jews…”.
Notice however that with one exception, there are virtually no Arabs in the coalition. That exception is Libya. The rest of the Arab world is notably absent from the final great Islamic invasion of Israel.
That is counter intuitive, because for the past 70 years the Arab world has vowed to destroy Israel, it has tried to do so five times in major modern wars, since the founding of the nation, and considers Israel to be the “little Satan” which is supported by the USA, “the great Satan”. One would think that the nations which have been the very center and breeding ground of the Islamic faith, would be leading the charge against Israel.
Ezekiel did see the Arabs in his vision, but they were registering a verbal challenge to the invaders, not joining them nor were they supporting them in any way.
Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil? (Ezekiel 38:13)
Sheba and Dedan are the ancient names for those who dwell in the Northern part of the Arabian peninsula, which currently comprises Saudi Arabia.They are the descendants of Abraham, from his wife Keturah, who he married after Sarah’s death.
There are several possible reasons for the conspicuous absence of the custodians of Mecca and Medina, from the coming invasion of Israel.
*It could be that there is another war which will be waged by the near neighbors of Israel ( Arabs),which will take the Arabs out of the picture. Psalm 83 is a desperate endtimes prayer for deliverance (from the perspective of Israel) from those who would “wipe the name of Israel off of the Earth). Those nations listed are the Muslim Arab nations of today, among them Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, the Arabs, etc.
*It could also be that Psalm 83 is a reference to wars which have been waged by said nations since 1948, in which those very nations pledged to drive the Jews into the sea and wipe Israel off the earth, but then failed utterly.
* Another possible reason for the Arab absence is the fact that the Arabs, who are the custodians of Mecca, and Medina and who have financed world terrorism since the 1940s , against Israel, actually fear the Iranians and the Turks more than they hate Israel.
We thank God for the rift in the Muslim world which pits Muslims against each other, Sunni against Shia, and among the Sunnis, Turkey and the Saudis vie for rule over the Sunni World.The book of Genesis predicted the divisions in the prophecy about Ishmael,
And the angel of the Lord said unto her, Behold, thou art with child and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the Lord hath heard thy affliction. And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.( Genesis 16:11-12)
The Turks would like to regain their former glory as the Ottoman Empire and the seat of the Caliphate, which is the central Juridicial, military and Religious rule over the Worlds 900 million Sunnis. They would also love to oust the Arabs from their custodianship over the pilgrim cities of Mecca and Medina. The Saudis obviously would want to retain their hold over the Sunni world, but greatly fear the Turks.
Since the Obama administration favored the Shiite Iranians, the Saudis have trembled in fear to the point where they literally sought relations with Israel. Obama brokered a 150 billion dollar gift to Iran and helped them modernize and update their Nuclear program. This is why so many Arab states and Emirates have had to lay aside their hatred of Israel and try to negotiate peace with them, through Trump’s Abraham Accord.
Ezekiel saw the Arab’s objecting, along side the “merchants of Tarshish”, (the ancient term for the West. They raise an objection to the Beast army and it’s invasion of Israel, “…have you come to take a spoil”?
The spiritual meaning of the watershed, which is our sudden, humiliating Afghan withdrawal, is the removal of Western restraint of long pent up hatreds in the Middle East. You could say that the proverbial genie is out of the bottle and there will be no putting it back in.

Many scholars believe the merchants of Tarshish is Great Britain and the ‘young lions thereof’ are the Australians and Americans. Fits with this author’s narrative of the ‘Abraham Accords’.

Arabs are all over Revelations IMHO....the army of the beast.
First off nowhere in the scriptures does it say that Gog attacks Israel. It does say Gog comes against the land which means a Palestinian state. And the name Bush is encoded in the Gog chapters of Ezekiel, forwards and backwards. Need help on who is the backwards Bush? Also Obama is encoded there in Hebrew of course.

Synchronicity. I hadn’t thought about Ezek 38 until mid-day today when discussing Robin Bullock and Stewert Best with a friend and the Syrian attack came to mind.

I don’t think there are enough Arabs to fit the narrative.
Reference Genesis 10 with Ezekiel 38. The villain Magog is a descendant of Japheth (as are Gomer and Javan), and not a descendant of Shem like Arabs.
