The description in The Revelation of the state of the world at the start of the Tribulation appear to some to have a 'use by' date, meaning we are in the period when the characteristics of the age are converged but will not remain the state of the world for much longer. Tech developments will soon leverage the human race beyond what is characteristic of the tribulation period. SOOO, the removal of the Body of Christ Believers, characterized as having the Holy Spirit abiding in their spirit is even closer than the tribulation!

This 'use by date' notion was in a teaching from JD Farag this past Sunday. It was in his update, not the regular sermon. Reviewing the chapters from six through 13 it does seem JD has seen something we ought to consider.

I’ve heard the term “shelf-life” also used before.

Reading your comments reminded me of these Scriptures in Daniel:

12 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

No one living on the earth will be exempt from tribulation.

Paul told the Thessalonian saints, “...when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation” (1 Thes. 3:4). In a second epistle he stated, “we ourselves glory in... your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure” (2 Thes. 1:4). He taught other saints that, “we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience” (Rom. 5:3) and “we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God” (Acts 14:22). Matthew quotes Christ as saying that except the “great tribulation” were “shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened” (Matt. 24:21-22). This is also the theme of the parable of the wheat and the tares (Matt. 13:24-30, 36-52).

The “great multitude” that the Apostle John saw in the visions of Revelation are identified as those who “. . . came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb” (Revelation 7:14).
