Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Psalm 142[a]

A maskil[b] of David. When he was in the cave. A prayer.

1  I cry aloud to the Lord;
    I lift up my voice to the Lord for mercy.

2  I pour out before him my complaint;
    before him I tell my trouble.

3  When my spirit grows faint within me,
    it is you who watch over my way.
In the path where I walk
    people have hidden a snare for me.

4  Look and see, there is no one at my right hand;
    no one is concerned for me.
I have no refuge;
    no one cares for my life.

5  I cry to you, Lord;
    I say, “You are my refuge,
    my portion in the land of the living.”

6  Listen to my cry,
    for I am in desperate need;
rescue me from those who pursue me,
    for they are too strong for me.

7  Set me free from my prison,
    that I may praise your name.
Then the righteous will gather about me
    because of your goodness to me.

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Our Father in Heaven,
How Blessed and Wonderful is Your Most Holy Name!
How Magnificent,
How Holy,
How Sanctified and Glorious!
When I Awake in the Morning,
You Are There.
All through the day,
You Are With me.
And When I go to Sleep at Night,
You Are Still Watching Over Us All.
For You Neither Slumber Nor Sleep.

1. I cry out to the LORD with my voice;
With my voice to the LORD I make my supplication.
2. I pour out my complaint before Him;
I declare before Him my trouble.

I love You, LORD
Because You have heard My Voice and My Supplications.
Because You Have inclined Your ear to me,
Therefore I will call upon You as long as I live.

3. When my spirit was overwhelmed within me,
Then You knew my path.
In the way in which I walk
They have secretly set a snare for me.
4. Look on my right hand and see,
For there is no one who acknowledges me;
Refuge has failed me;
No one cares for my soul.

How Wonderful You Are!
Although You Are The Creator,
The Great Designer of The Galaxies,
The Omnipotent Master of The Universe,
You Hear my Voice!
How We Love You, LORD!
For even when it seems that nobody is listening,
You Are There,
And You Will Never Fail Your Beloved.

5. I cried out to You, O LORD:
I said, “You are my refuge,
My portion in the land of the living.
6. Attend to my cry,
For I am brought very low;
Deliver me from my persecutors,
For they are stronger than I.
7. Bring my soul out of prison,
That I may praise Your name;
The righteous shall surround me,
For You shall deal bountifully with me.”

Let All That Has Been Concealed,
Be Revealed.

LORD, We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Beseech You on Behalf of Our Captive Brethren,
Christians and Jews,
In Bondage in Hostile lands.

We Pray For Our Beloved USA
We Ask That Your People Receive Wisdom from You
To do the Right Thing.
We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Here it is Saturday night, and I spend the whole day doing drywall with my beloved brother who came over to help me. It's all done except for the final coat and the paint. This includes the access door which came out beautiful. I was a wee bit concerned as it took him a long time to get to my house. I go to his house every Tuesday evening to dine with him and his wife, and I KNOW it's only 26 miles. I hoped and prayed he was not involved in an accident on the way.

When he finally arrived, he was seething. He had used GPS, which sent him on a wild goose chase, making his journey 36 miles through Cape Cod Traffic. It was idiotic! I rarely use GPS, and usually navigate by Road Maps and a Compass..

God has provided us with a Road Map and a Compass to navigate through life. The Bible, inspired by The Holy Spirit, is our Map, and Common Sense is our Compass.

Modern Technology may be a convenient tool on many occasions, but we are not to obey that computer-voice without questioning it. It can very easily lead us astray!

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
