CHICAGO (WLS) -- Cardinal Blase Cupich sent a message to priests in the Chicago Archdiocese Wednesday about Catholics and the COVID vaccine.
He said religious exemptions for the vaccine go against church teachings, and priests should not provide them to parishioners.

But full dispensations of the Sunday obligation to attending Sunday Mass from the same franciscardinal.

Does that include illegals invading the southern border?
Why would they? No permission slip needed.
Someone needs to tell the good Bishop that fetal cells are used in these.
Cupich is wrong here. The Catholic Church supports FREEDOM, not being forced to do something.
Cupich was elevated to the college of cardinals by Bergoglio.
The buck stops with Jorge.
I’m Catholic and I received an exemption from my employer without even mentioning that fact. I simply said I cannot take any of the three vaccines because they were all developed and/or tested using cell lines derived from aborted human fetuses, and that by receiving it I would be approving of the abortion which took place, which I cannot do. They accepted my explanation and granted the exception no fuss, no muss. They have to consider your personal religious beliefs, not your priest’s, or your bishop’s, or the pope’s or the Dalai Lama’s. There’s no need to identify any particular religion to which you belong. It’s not like there’s a list of religions and they can say what that religion believes. Don’t give them any opening to question your personal sincerely held religious belief by identifying your religion so they can say “But Cardinal Cupich says…”
I’ll be happy to provide the exact wording I used if anyone would be interested.
Heard a lady on Lars Larson today saying her employer requires vax unless you have a medical or religious exemption. She said she had religious objection to vaccine. They sent her online form asking, “What religion to you belong to?” and “What is the doctrine that specifically prohibits vaccination?”
Wow who at her job sent her that form? Most HR departments will kill any management that asks their employees that kind of stuff, because it’s in major gray area of State/Federal anti-discrimination laws.
