About an hour ago as of this writing (10:30 pm EDT), Cardinal Raymond Burke’s Twitter and the Facebook page of the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in LaCrosse, Wisconsin both posted the following message. “Cardinal Burke has been admitted to the hospital with COVID-19 and is being assisted by a ventilator. Doctors are encouraged by his progress. His Eminence faithfully prayed the Rosary for those suffering from the virus. On this Vigil of the Assumption, let us now pray the Rosary for him.”
We also urge all of our readers to say a rosary for His Eminence’s swift and full recovery.
So first question
Was he vaxxed or not? I suppose God doesn’t care whether you are vaxxed when it is your time to go.

Would be interesting to know if you made an attempt early on to get the infusion.
Looks like it has taken him out pretty fast....But he could have had it for awhile before he announced on the 10th.
My parish priest didn’t get the vaccine because of aborted baby strain in it.

If you get word that he gets ills try to get the word out to get that infusion ASAP. Short window to get it.
This thread is a good reminder that whether you are vaxxed or not..have a plan. And start it right away.
This is the problem with this evil disease. If you wait around trying to get better it may be too late to use the things that could have helped you in the first place.

What is the infusion that you are talking about?
Monoclonal antibodies.
I don’t know if they are relaxing the standards for it yet... You have to meet various criteria. One of which is you cant be sick enough to need a ventilator.... it too late for Burke...otherwise he would have qualified if he had tried to get it at home.
Desantis is mobilizing infusion centers. I think on wheels but I didnt read the story.

It sounds to me that this is saying he was against a vaccine mandate. He also seemed to be against getting it at all , but the only report that supports that was back in May, 2020. Not sure whether he did get the vaxx since then. I wonder whether they will report it.

Covid has taken him down fairly quickly.
Also, at least at the end of July, they wouldn’t give it to people taking heavy-duty immunosuppressants. I was about to get the MAB, but at the last minute, they realized I took two pretty strong immunosuppressants.
I spent almost 4 weeks in the hospital. I’m at home but I’m still recovering.
Dang.....can’t imagine the hospital bill that your insurance is going to get charged.
You are very very lucky. Now comes the battle with long haul sypmtoms.

Some people are taking Ivermectin for that but your situation is very precarious due to drugs you have to normally take.

As with so many, they’re using a ventilator to kill him, and they’ll call it covid.
