Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban declared on Thursday that his country would bar LGBT+ activists from schools under a new law restricting promotion of homosexuality, despite pressure from the EU to rescind the legislation.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page, Orban responded to the European Commission’s decision to open an inquiry into the country over the legislation that prohibits the promotion of homosexuality within schools.
“The European Parliament and the European Commission want that we let LGBTQ activists and organisations into the kindergartens and schools. Hungary does not want that,” Orban said, standing by the legislation.
Orban has been clear that his government will not be dictated-to by the EU over this matter, stating that “Brussels bureaucrats have no business at all” demanding how Hungary teaches its children.
The comments come after the European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen told the country it must repeal the law or face action from the European Union. If Hungary continues to reject the EU’s requests, the Commission could open a legal case against Hungary or seek to restrict or freeze European funds designated for the member state.

The best thing to do is leave the EU. The man net they give you comes with too many strings.
You know, I can see the Slavic nations realigning with Russia.
They have a lot more in common with Russian Language, religion, history and traditions than they do with Western Europe.
Russia does not allow promotion of LGBTQ agenda, either.
Hopefully, the EU will soon be toast.
If history has taught us nothing else, it should be that the centralization of power is, ultimately, the death of liberty and freedom.
Go Hungary !!!!
I’m still amazed that people were willing to join an organization that would (at the time) be predictably dominated by the English (now out), French and Germans because THIS time they asked nice-like rather than send in an army.
Truly the elites of these nations do not have the ordinary peoples’ best at heart.
#1 Poland
#2 Hungary
#3 Russia
#999 u.s.a.
“Russia does not allow promotion of LGBTQ agenda, either.”
That’s what my Russkie buds here in L.A. tells me all the time. “Back home is Moscow, we would beat the sh*t out of faggots..” etc etc. They have their own schools here in California and just like Jewish schools, they DO NOT allow the teaching of homofag subjects.
Hungary, Poland & Russia, the last bastions of sanity in Europe.
The West is finished.
East Asia wins.
Tucker did his show all week from Hungary........excellent
In the US we have a special term for LGBT Activists: “Teacher”
“You know, I can see the Slavic nations realigning with Russia.”
The ONLY thing keeping Hungary in the EU now is the inflow of cash. If the EU plays that card, then Hungary simply bolts and Russia is the logical choice. If I had to guess, they’ll be out of the EU in 2 years as the EU cannot permit a member state to protect their kids from gays, while demanding all other states not protect their kids.
Trump/Orban 2024!
Too much bad history with Russia. I can see an alliance between the old AustroHungarian states; Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, etc.

You’re probably right. Those countries are non-cyrillic, and favor Roman Catholicism over Eastern.
And Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia. If anybody in Poland started talked about joining with Russia, the background noise of John Paul II, the Polish cavalry officers slaughtered in the wlods, and a more than a few people killed in Warsaw spinning in the graves would overwhelm any normal conversation.
Ukraine is another possibility, a long with Georgia. If course, all of this repeats history, so expect Russians and Germany to be concerned about such an alliance.
And we know how that turned out.
Trust me. Poland won’t.
It’s called Intermarium, or in Polish międzymorze. It was the dream of Marshall Piłsudski as a buffer between the Germans and the Russians.
> Trust me. Poland won’t.
You’re right. Too much treachery and murder on the part of the Russians, Imperial AND Soviet.
Do you think the Western Slavic/Urgic nations are economically strong enough to form their own economic union?
If they have the will to make it work, sure.
