AMEN!! It’s the little things that end up being the big things. God gave us beauty and special little pleasures to make life on this Earth more bearable. We should not take that for granted. Thank you for the reminder!! : )
Don’t forget New Mexico green chile - standing downwind from a roaster outside a grocery store is one pleasant aroma and one that I always look forward to in August and September.
God Loved Us And Gave Us CHOCOLATE.....................
Relax, God gave us HAZELNUT, too..................
Local grocer is having a big Hatch Masters event with chiles from Hatch, NM. Big sale add full page etc. I’m not really into them but couldn’t help but notice.
Try putting a pinch of baking soda in your coffe. See if it makes a difference
I do Peet’s Major Dickason’s K-cups as well.
I do Peet’s Major Dickason’s K-cups as well.
It’s actually “Dickason”.
That’s so funny - I’ve looked at that hundreds of times and always thought I saw “Dickinson”. :-)
I have my nutmeg in a spice grinder :)
My wife calls it “Dickinson” as well. I used to buy Starbucks Verona beans before discovering Major Dickason. Haven’t bought Starbucks in years now.
I like the Guatemalan coffee from Aldi. Not too strong, good flavor, but always looking to try something new.
Thank you for this nice post.
Me too.
I eat 1 teaspoon of Nutmeg now and then.
1 part nutmeg and 2 parts sugar. I then stir it up and eat it with peanut butter and bananas.
I do the same with Ginger and Cinnamon and even Cardamom.
Best.

We have occasionally gotten Starbucks too, if we were at a store that didn’t have Major Dickason. I forget whether or not it was Verona.
Amen to that.

I’m glad you found a brand you love.
That’s what really matters ~~ that you find one you really like.
Regarding Folger’s: I figured everybody would, in their minds (as they read the OP) replace Folger’s with the brand that THEY loved.
Best.

Thanks for the amen.

Your most noble Nullness, I’m with your dad on this one—never touch the stuff, but it does smell good.
