Dear Heavenly Father, The Great I AM,
Ours was a nation birthed to evangelize the world but instead we find ourselves a nation divided and in a dismal state of spiritual decline . . . a nation full of anger, despair, division, immorality and discontent. In such a relatively short period of time we have seen, and now witness first-hand, evidence of a country riddled with self mass-destruction. Our light, once shining on a hill for Your Glory, is fast becoming but a dim flicker on the world stage.
I am not sure which quarter we are in . . . in what seems to be the final game; but it is for certain that satan has pulled out the stops trying his best to win. . . to take this nation down by playing interference with family, church, government, education, business, health care and the media. We see there are plenty on his side willing to give their all in order to down those who are standing for Your righteousness. But Hallelujah, Praise God, we know You have assured a glorious Victory to those who put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ. There is indeed Victory in Your Son Jesus who paid the ultimate price for our sins. Thank You, Jesus!
You, Father, have placed us here for such a time as this having given each of us a special God-designed, God-given Destiny. Holy Spirit, we plead for a fresh indwelling of Your Spirit releasing those thoughts, desires, and actions that are keeping us from fulfilling that Destiny. For those in positions of authority and leadership in this nation who covet Your Word, Holy Spirit, please anoint their responsibilities, decisions and actions with Your power so all will see, all will acknowledge that the ‘Hand of God’ is in total control of this nation, that we are indeed one nation under God with liberty and justice for all. Strike down these wicked individuals and institutions that blatantly and audaciously lie to the public about their true (evil) intentions while painting good people as the real enemy !
Do not let these servants of darkness prevail over your children ! Send forth your angels to liberate us, oh, Lord ! Hear our cries and help us, please, dear Lord !
