YouTube removed an entire radio show from its platform this week, hosted by popular Christian author and social commentator Eric Metaxas, citing violations of their community standards.
Metaxas – author of biographies on the lives of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Martin Luther, and William Wilberforce, among many other books – announced the news to his social media pages on Tuesday.
“It’s happened,” he wrote on his Facebook page. “Despite our going FAR out of our way to comply with their arbitrary ‘community standards’, YouTube decided to remove every single video we’ve ever done on the Eric Metaxas Show off their platform.”
The Eric Metaxas Radio Show, humorously called “The Show About Everything”, has featured a host of big name guests, including former NFL star Tim Tebow, Hollywood actors such as Jim Caveziel and Gary Sinise, the controversial Milo Yiannopoulos, and Discovery’s own Stephen Meyer. Theologians, actors and actresses, journalists, musicians, filmmakers, and politicians alike have appeared on the show over the years.

YouTube is so big. It’ll be hard to compete against or stop. Maybe Trump’s lawsuit will help.

Forcing browser upgrades mandates more memory and obsoleting of older machines. Never ending circle of taking more $$$ for content that could easily be written to work on year old browsers.
It’s like that Bond movie where Bond goes after that media mogul.
Conservative speech is the frog in the pot. Most still don’t realize it. The Left has the ability to shut it all out now. They’re just doing it by degrees.
The reason why this is significant is that people use Youtube/Twitter/Facebook as a cash cow. It’s how they make their money via donations and advertising. The problem is that got into a partnership with the devil and now the devil is going to do devil things. It’s just the price you pay.

Youtube’s size is governed by # active users uploading content.
It used to be that those users uploaded exclusively on Youtube.
That is no longer true.... They are on multiple platforms PRECISELY because of what Youtube has been doing.
Alternate platforms are now growing exponentially.
We just need to ween ourselves from relying on Youtube as an exclusive source of user video content.... and eventually boycott it.
Every time I hear one of these stories It makes me want to take youtube off my bookmarks.
I certainly would never at this point upload new content.

His show is on TBN cable and old TV which still broadcasts on regular “UHF” channels at least here locally.

I like bitchute simply because I can download videos from it like I can with youtube videos.
That's one of the great things about FR - it's backward compatible all the way to 1998. :)
