Is the Pope now going abrogate all extraordinary ministries?

I hope a future, Catholic, pope does so. EEMS are a post VC II novelty, just like altar girls and Communion in the Paw.

That’s what I think.

Previous rumor was that he was waiting for Pope Benedict to die first.

Let's play "word change" to see just how ridiculous this is.

Francis said he was "saddened" that the people not taking the messenger RNA vaccine "are often characterized by a rejection not only of the messenger RNA platform, but of the CDC itself, [with many people] claiming, with unfounded and unsustainable assertions, that it betrayed the concept of a vaccine and the 'true CDC.'"

"At the same time, I am saddened by abuses in the reporting of the vaccine on all sides," the pontiff observed, lamenting how a false notion of "Phase III trials" while granting the new shots an EUA "leads to almost unbearable distortions."

Nevertheless, Francis maintains that "the shots promulgated by the saintly pontiff Fauci, in conformity with the decrees of CDC, are the unique and only ways to go to get vaccinated."

So, basically, people flocked to the TLM because of the abuse of the new mass. But rather than shut down the new mass which has been bastardized, he went after the Latin Mass which hasn't changed in centuries.

Something tells me Francis will not get everything he wants....TLM folks are smart, and they now see that Francis has effectively blinked/ said he fears the TLM communities.

The original rumor was that he was not do anything till Pope Benedict passes on, out of respect for Pope Benedict.

The more recent humor was that he will only promulgate logistical changes, such as to ensure that priests don’t say the Latin Mass when hardly anyone is present.

Now this. I think, you are right and Francis is in a hurry, perhaps due to failing health. The question becomes, how many left-wing cardinals has he brought to Rome?

‘A pagan language from a people who were anti God?’

Western Christianity’s base of operation was in Rome, where the contemporary tongue was, wait for it, none other than the ‘sermo vulgaris’, or the speech of the commoners...

aka Latin...

but if you wish to make a case for a service in Aramaic, a demotic Hebrew tongue, for a Latin speaking populace, have at it...

‘Good Lord, I miss JPII.’

if you love the TLM (as I still do, though my beliefs have evolved to the point that precludes me from participating in religious celebrations) you should miss Pius XII, not JPII...

I have no issue with Latin, other than my midwest tongue can not pronounce it very well.

My point is that if you love the liturgy, it is a wonderful thing. But I see many claims of the Latin mass that match the claims of KJV only folks.

And I do love the KJV, the DR, the RSV, and the Jerusalem Bible.
