Canadian Civil Liberties Boss Says ‘Burn It All Down’ as Churches Torched
Breitbart ^ | 7/5/21 | Jack Montgomery

The executive director of the British Columbia Civil Liberties Association (BCCLA), Harsha Walia, is under fire for commenting on a story about the wave of church arsons sweeping Canada by saying “Burn it all down.”

Walia, a Bahrain-born South Asian based in Vancouver and described as “a community organizer and campaigner in migrant justice, feminist, anti-capitalist, abolitionist, and anti-imperialist movements” in her profile at the left-wing Intercept, made the inflammatory intervention in response to a VICE report on two Roman Catholic churches being burned down in Alberta and Nova Scotia.

Many churches have been burned or vandalised in recent days, amidst reports of unmarked graves — often wrongly described as “mass graves” by the mainstream media — being uncovered at former Indian Residential Schools, which native children were once required to attend as part of a government effort to integrate them into Canada’s culture.

That’s an open declaration of civil hostilities.

Again - if the Canadian government shirks its responsibilities to uphold citizens rights by their own constitution then the responsibility falls on them and they have the right to redress.

I wonder if Canada is showing the way on how blatant government action can become when turned openly against its citizens? We are being less obvious so far.

Maybe for every church they burn, they should burn two mosques. I bet Walia would be down with that, right?

Seeing as the Canadian government has been known to arrest Christian preachers for holding Church services I am guessing that the fires have been started by people connected to the government.
Also related to this story: No, they have not found any graves. Nothing as been dug up and there is no evidence of people being buried at those locations.

“Between 1851 and 1910 in England and Wales four million died from tuberculosis, more than one third of those aged 15 to 34 and half of those aged 20 to 24 died, and tuberculosis was called the robber of youth.”

“in 2011, 8.7 million people were infected with tuberculosis with 1.4 million deaths.”

https://jmvh.org/article/history-of-tuberculosis-part-1-phthisis-consumption-and-the-white-plague/

“Emily’s three elder sisters, Maria, Elizabeth, and Charlotte, were sent to the Clergy Daughters’ School at Cowan Bridge. At the age of six, on 25 November 1824, Emily joined her sisters at school for a brief period. At school, however, the children suffered abuse and privations, and when a typhoid epidemic swept the school, Maria and Elizabeth became ill. Maria, who may actually have had tuberculosis, was sent home, where she died. Emily, Charlotte and Elizabeth were subsequently removed from the school in June 1825. Elizabeth died soon after their return home.”

“Charlotte maintained that the school’s poor conditions permanently affected her health and physical development and that it had hastened the deaths of Maria (born 1814) and Elizabeth (born 1815), who both died in 1825. After the deaths of his older daughters, Patrick removed Charlotte and Emily from the school. Charlotte would use her experiences and knowledge of the school as the basis for Lowood School in Jane Eyre.”

“The three remaining sisters and their brother Branwell were thereafter educated at home by their father and aunt Elizabeth Branwell.”

Getting sick at school and dying from schooling was not confined to First Nations children.

Things are getting to be like when the Nazis encouraged violence and the Nazi thugs (by design) got away with it. The Nazis quickly learned that they could get away with anything because they saw that most people were either intimidated or indifferent.

This sounds serious but the situation on the ground is that people are laughing at the incongruity of a civil liberties “leader” calling for burning down places of worship, and native leaders are calling on their rowdy youth to stop making trouble for their cause. They have already figured out that the small spree of church burnings (four so far) is having a very negative impact on their political campaign and in fact some of the churches burned down are only attended by native people themselves so it makes no sense.

Civil liberties groups in Canada have taken a variety of positions in past years, some of which have been good for the cause of free speech, and others which have not been. The problem is that they attract leftist type libertarians who are in it mostly for the gay marriage and free dope, you never seem to find right-libertarians in these civil liberties groups.

We’re being subjected to a Soros style “color revolution” in Canada but the problem is our government is more likely to facilitate it than to oppose it, and the population are generally too naive to understand what’s going on. The intention is clearly to destabilize our economy and tank the Canadian dollar, and one wonders who has good positions on that outcome. Hint, the name is a palindrome.
