“... believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins,...”

That “ask him to forgive you sins” part just about ruins the author’s Christian credentials; I mean, I just cringe right down to my toes when I hear that.

Why? Because ya don’t ask for what you already have! That’s RUDE! And it just proves you don’t understand what you’ve got.

As Paul explained in his second letter to Corinth:

“In other words, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting people’s trespasses against them, and he has given us the message of reconciliation.”
2 Corinthians 5:19 NET

That “not counting people’s trespasses against them” part...?

That’s “forgiveness.”

So when Christians say, “You need to be forgiven,” they LIE!

The whole world already has been forgiven.
THAT’S WHAT “THE GOOD NEWS” IS! That a sinless proxy — God The Son — went to our execution in our place, so our sin-debt would be paid in full; so we’d be forgiven that debt.

It’s DONE! STOP ASKING!

What the world needs to do now is to BELIEVE IT, and REPENT.

You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures.

__________________________________________________

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9

"But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, 'God, have mercy on me, a sinner.'"
Luke 18:13

"Then his master summoned him and said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you pleaded with me. 33 And should not you have had mercy on your fellow servant, as I had mercy on you?’"
Matthew 18:32

Psalm 51
For the director of music. A psalm of David. When the prophet Nathan came to him after David had committed adultery with Bathsheba.

1 Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.

3 For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.
4 Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight;
so you are right in your verdict and justified when you judge.
5 Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
6 Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb; you taught me wisdom in that secret place.

7 Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
8 Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice.
9 Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity.

10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways, so that sinners will turn back to you.
14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, you who are God my Savior, and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.
15 Open my lips, Lord, and my mouth will declare your praise.
16 You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.
17 My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.

You’ve done a lot of pouting lately HKMk23.

If a sinner headed towards Hell doesn’t repent and ask for forgiveness from The Only One who can Save Them - then they will still end up there.

You seem to just wish to flame away on these threads.

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness

Or 2 Corinthians 13:5
Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!
