I had idiosyncratic tastes as a child. For whatever reason, I preferred Burger King fries to McDonald’s fries, and always preferred BK over its more iconic rival. In recent years, I’ve gravitated toward Popeye’s and Chick-fil-A. I haven’t darkened the doorstep of a Burger King in years, and thanks to the company’s newest marketing campaign, I’m likely to avoid BK for the foreseeable future.
Last Thursday, Burger King announced that part of every chicken sandwich order will go to support the LGBT activist group Human Rights Campaign (HRC).
“The ChKing says LGBTQ+ rights! During [pride] month (even on Sundays) your chicken sandwich craving can do good! We are making a donation* to [HRC] for every Ch’King sold,” the company announced. Between June 3 and June 30, Burger King will contribute 40 cents to HRC, up to a maximum donation of $250,000.
*6/3-6/30 with every Ch'King sold, BK will contribute 40₵ to the Human Rights Campaign (Max. donation $250k)

This big announcement involves little more than virtue signaling on the part of Burger King, but it will also likely alienate conservative Christians who understand the marketing.
Christians should be compassionate toward LGBT people, but we cannot celebrate their lifestyles.
The Bible is clear that God made humans male and female (Genesis 1:27, Mark 10:6, Matthew 19:4) and that marriage is between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24). The male-female definition of marriage is not just a lifestyle in the Bible — it is a mystery that prefigures the marriage between God and His church (Ephesians 5:31-32).

Burger King has been on the verge of bankruptcy for a few years.

So, just my two cents: From a business perspective, if you want to make a much clearer message (in this particular case), continue to buy from BK, but do NOT buy chicken sandwiches.
They’ll probably not notice when Christians don’t shop at BK (to easy to explain that away with other “noise” in the sales numbers). It’s a LOT harder to explain away when your overall sales are fine, but chicken sandwich sales specifically plummet.

One would think all walks of life would avoid that freaky scary king creature.
Wait until CFA comes out with their “we love perverts too” statement. Who really gives a crap about these two woke clownshows of garbage fake food?
I go to Chick-Fil-A for that very reason. I like the chicken and I don’t worry about what social insanity i will have to put up with if I walk through the door.
I am dreading the day when McDs starts doing rainbow shakes.
My wife is in love with the mint St Paddy’s shakes, but iw ill refuse to blacken their doorstep when they inevitably figure out how to make the rainbow.
