So that’s a deflection to a question.

You have no argument until you point out who those elect are.

A lot of people confuse persecution with Godly Judgement.

God will Judge a wicked and rebellious world.
God never Judges and never has included His Children with His Judgement.

Nope.

Romans 2
11 For God does not show favoritism. 12 All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. 13For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but it is the doers of the law who will be declared righteous.…

I greatly hope for a pre-trib rapture. But I am planning for something in the middle

The elect are those chosen by God for salvation, by grace. If you want an exact list, I’m afraid you’ll have to ask the only one who knows, Jesus Christ.

Christ comes for the church 1st in the air.

Mount Moria splits in two when Christ touches the earth in the 2nd coming. Two separate events. The church was not appointed us to wrath.

13Brothers, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you will not grieve like the rest, who are without hope. 14For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, we also believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him.

15By the word of the Lord, we declare to you that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who have fallen asleep. 16For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will be the first to rise. 17After that, we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord.

18Therefore encourage one another with these words.

It’s coming bro, one way or another.

I can lay out verse after verse and the naysayers will just shout ‘no’ all the more.

Christ will fulfill His promises! 👍

Elect = Saints

Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

“He’s talking to Jews in those verses.”

Wasn’t he answering a direct question from his disciples in those verses? Were his disciples not Christians?

And how many angels can dance on the head of a pin?

Seriously, these arguments are yet another way that Satan tries to divide the Church..

Believe that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God and that he died for our sins and rose again and you’ll be with Him in paradise. It matters not when or if you’ll be raptured prior to the tribulation.

Based in scripture, this must happen first…

2 Thess 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

God knows who the elect are. If you don’t know, you may not be a member.

So you don't who they are either?

The clues seem to indicate pre-tribe, but we all need to have some humility on our positions and wait. I don’t think there are 45 clues.

“Christ comes for the church 1st in the air.

Ah, so wouldn’t it be a 3rd coming then? Christ already came once, then you say he comes for the church before the “2nd coming”. So either that’s really a “3rd coming” or the Bible and all Christians who have always talked about the “2nd coming” have it wrong?

As for the verses you posted, those correspond exactly to the events of the “first resurrection” spoken of in Revelation, which happens AFTER the tribulation.

Sure. I get uncomfortable when people get dogmatic about the timing of the rapture. It is not perspicuous. We can only prepare for all eventualities

I don’t argue it with people, but my primary verse is Rev 3:10. We will see who is right in the end. I stay away from post tribbers spitting their fire. They can’t wait to get to all the suffering.

I don’t look at the persecution of believers around the world as Godly Judgment. I also don’t look at the tribulation as Godly Judgment.

I see Judgment as the “day” of wrath, the very end.

Double plus nope, continue reading.

Ronan’s 3

21But now, apart from the law, the righteousness of God has been revealed, as attested by the Law and the Prophets. 22And this righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no distinction, 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

25God presented Him as the atoning sacrificei through faith in His blood, in order to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance He had passed over the sins committed beforehand. 26He did this to demonstrate His righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and to justify the one who has faith in Jesus.

Galatians 3:28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Why is this so hard for people to understand?
