“It is a list of 45 reasons why I believe the Pre-Trib Rapture is right”
You could list 1000 reasons and they wouldn’t outweigh the primary reason it is wrong:
1. It’s in direct contradiction to what the Bible says will happen.
End Times Ping
FReemail me if you wish to be added to or removed from The End Times Ping List.
No doubt The Harpazo (Rapture) is a contentious subject for people. This post lays out a good argument for Scriptural Basis as to why it will happen like a thief in the night, and it is BEFORE the 2nd coming.
Naysayers will be here to rock the boat no doubt. Don’t let them steal your joy, which is CHRIST and His soon return (Titus 2:13).
Maranatha!
Refute it with Scripture - not your words.
Nobody knows how to do that.
The church had it wrong for 1800 years or so and then John Nelson Darby cracked the code!
For example? Provide your insightful basis.
Sure, I’ll just post the verses I always post on your threads that you’ve yet to refute:
“29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
Matthew 24:29-31
So we see that the Bible specifically tells us here, in 3 short verses that immediately AFTER the tribulation is when Jesus will return and gather his chosen. This of course matches exactly with the timeline of Revelation, where the second coming, and first resurrection happen at the very end of the tribulation in Revelation chapters 19 & 20.
Refer to my post #7.
Who are you calling His elect?
Jews?
Christians?
The Church?
Refer to these verses and see what they mean to you?
John 14:3
1 John 3:2
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
1 Corinthians 15:51-52
Refute it with Scripture - not your words.
RWC supporting PTR: Jesus warned that THAT DAY would come like a thief in the night.
It’s the same day. And everyone that isn’t with Jesus Christ our Lord when he leaves, is Dead, until the resurrection unto damnation. Peter and Jesus are talking about a different day? That would be ridiculous. There is nothing left on this earth after “THAT DAY”. That means for certain that there is no PTR.
Christians (members of the ‘Church”) are being persecuted at this moment. Many are being killed. God allows this, just as He allowed all of the 12 disciples to be murdered.
I thought all members of the body of Christ are considered Saints....not divided into groups.
I don’t agree with you on the pre trib interpretation. I think the problem with pre trib teaching is that believers will not be prepared if this teaching is incorrect. Perhaps they will then be a part of those who fall away.
There is a lot that is not clear about the end times, just as it was not clear for Christ’s first coming. We can see it now in scripture using hind sight. There is a reason for this.
If the pre trib interpretation is right, yay. If it’s not, then its’ not...... be ready.
Ok.
So who are the “elect”?
Jews?
The Church?
Christians?
Another group?
God knows who the elect are. If you don’t know, you may not be a member.
There are no passages in either the Old Testament or the New Testament that say the Church will go through the Tribulation Period.
Check Matthew 24:6-14, for a start.
A lot of people confuse persecution with Godly Judgement.
God will Judge a wicked and rebellious world.
God never Judges and never has included His Children with His Judgement.
The examples are above as posted.
The signs of His Coming are all around us, and this thread will ratchet up a lot of replies from naysayers and deniers of God’s ability and intentions to not include His Children with His Judgement.
Judgement is reserved for the wicked.
Maybe you should rightly divide the Bible then when talking about His elect.
You think He considers Jews & Christians the same?
Refer to my #17
He’s talking to Jews in those verses.
“Who are you calling His elect?”
I didn’t call anyone his elect. Jesus called them his elect himself.
