There’s aspects of the Bible where you’re just incredulous that people can be that stupid and divorce themselves from if not God outright than the basic truths of reality and the world around them.

Much of modern Christianity has replaced the Jesus of the Gospels with a Mr. Rogers version of him: “I like you just the way you are,” instead of “I love you despite the way you are.”
Many of these people probably became “Christian” artists because it was the only way they could get into the music industry.

I get a bad vibe when I here contemporary “worship” music in the sanctuary, especially if it’s too loud. It’s enough to make me prefer the traditional independent fundamentalist Baptists with the older traditional hymns.
There are always apostates, sadly.
There are always a group that seek God.
Choose wisely.
The flip side is, “I’m a good person, so if I do it, it can’t be that bad...”
The truth, makes us free.
Maybe they’ll get back to classic Catholic hymns at Mass and get rid of the campfire girls trash and drums. And get off the altar. There’s a choir loft for a reason
