Cdl. Burke to Clergy: Be Brave Despite Likely Schism

Hopes USCCB will bar Biden, Pelosi from Communion

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (ChurchMilitant.com) - Cardinal Raymond Burke said the Church in America and Germany are effectively schismatic but called on fellow clergy to bravely proclaim "Christ is with us and will be until the end."

Fr. Javier Olivera Rabasi of Argentina, a well-known lawyer and author in the Spanish-speaking world who appears on YouTube, had a recent video chat with Burke while the famed American clergyman visited the United States. The cardinal specifically asked to speak in Spanish during that conversation, Rabasi said, rather than English or Italian, as a way of reassuring millions of Spanish-speaking Catholics who are increasingly living under socialist governments' compromised clergy.

Problems Rooted in 'Crisis of Faith'

Cardinal Burke told Rabasi, who holds doctorates in history and philosophy, that the Church has allowed moral corruption and the entry of secularism. This is possible, he said, because many bishops do not accept basic Church doctrine and do not discipline wayward priests.

During their chat, Fr. Rabasi recalled that he was studying at the Lateran University when St. John Paul II passed away. On April 24, 2005, the newly elected Pope Benedict XVI said during his Mass of investiture in Rome, "Pray for me that I may learn to love the Lord more. ... Pray for me that I may learn to love his flock more and more. Pray for me that I may not flee for fear of the wolves." The Argentine priest repeated Benedict's warning in 2011 that "the real crisis facing the Church in the Western world is a crisis of faith."

Observing there is bountiful evidence to support Benedict's concern, which has been repeated by others, Fr. Rabasi asked Burke why he believes we are living in a crisis of faith and......

The very least Francis could be doing is besides raising theological questions on the assertions made in the Islamic codex (which is their code of observance and behavior) known as Sharia, and should be defending the Chinese Catholics.

And also seems to ignore what Our Savior went through to establish the new covenant , Then Plays with suppressors of the faith

Francis continuing destructive confusing pontificating on temporal worldly social behavior, which has nothing to do with and avoids articles of faith and morals rebukes or restrains contemplative religious orders to favor such behavior .

By refusing to question and expound on the profound differences with the claims made by Islam and its followers Reaching out to and defend what Judeo/Christian beliefs are.Or challenge claims that Islamist make they are following God’s command using deceit and deception when ruthlessly murdering and torturing non believers and destroy their edifice .Smply because of its assertion of being monotheistic. Then winds up making a point of honoring it and placing it on an equal level because of that claim. Is leading to misguided conversions which is the result of my so called Pope playing games with this so called mono theistic cult and is creating a serious fracture within Christianity and The Roman Rite

”Why did he then resign ?”

Maybe the faithful neglected to pray for him. Benedict had the reputation for being a spiritual rock, but he was not physically robust and must have been under intense spiritual attack. Recall he never wanted to be Pope in the first place; he was ready to retire to a life of prayer and study. He only accepted it out of duty.

The schism already occurred but one side denies it and the other side doesn’t fathom it.

The Vatican bank was shut down. They couldn't pay their expenses, nor could they make payroll. Nothing financially related was available to the Church.

The bank was opened up again almost the moment he resigned.

It's called extortion.

He only accepted it out of duty.

He should have continued out of duty.

When the latest scandal broke in the USA he was the one, not Pope Francis, who put out the public letter of explanation for what happened. The American/Western societies were so compromised that their product had entered the seminaries and polluted them to some degree. It was very on point.

So ? How is that relevant to the Gospel and all that is holy ?

”He should have continued out of duty.”

That is between him and God. They are the only ones who know everything that went into his decision.

No, no, no, he owes a duty to the body of Messiah (II. THE CHURCH - BODY OF CHRIST),
to keep the sheep safe from wolves in sheep's clothing.

There was no retirement or extortion for the Apostles, save Judas.

  • So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
  • He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
  • He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

The Apostles (save John) never grew old enough to become old and infirm. And there may have been other factors that went into his decision we have no idea about. He said he he was physically unable to continue in the position, and I see no reason not to take him at is word. If one thinks he is a liar and a coward, then they should be happy he resigned.

Was the Apostle Peter ever a liar and a coward ?

How did he finish the race ?

  • Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.
  • Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;
  • Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.
  • Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.
  • For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
