Most amazing, road to Emmaus. John 10, John 17, the incredible to the very day math in Daniel, all of Romans, Genesis, to Revelation.

Good Lord this is worse than asking who is the best guitarist. Can’t pick just one.

Yes, just very interesting, day to day stuff.

I love the Bible parts like that in both the Old & New Testaments. You clearly see that people haven’t changed one iota from thousands of years ago. Religious belief is not required to be able to see the truth of that.

I’m a very new Bible reader! Still have not read all of it.

"I'll start, Gen 6 and 10"

Excellent choice.
The end of one age and the beginning of another.

To hop in a time machine and witness "the days of Noah" .....

I went through a long period of adversity, and someone suggested I read the Book of Job.

So later, at work I made a nametag that said 'Job'.

People called me either 'Joe' or 'Bob'.

The book of Romans.

Chapters 1-11 of Romans, the theological chapters of Romans.

Taken a step further, chapters 1-8 1/2, man a sinner, “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God,” with that fact established, then how to be justified before God (by faith in Jesus Christ) and regenerated by water and Spirit.

Chapters 8 1/2 through eleven, a bit of endtime eschatology, followed by the election (not Republicans and Democrats).

Chapters 12-16, the practical chapters of Romans.

"John 1"

I have a friend that describes this book as: "as if John is holding a beautiful gem in his hands and is describing it as he turns it in his fingers."

Luke 16 — in particular, the parable of Lazarus and the rich man starting in verse 19.

Reasons:
> Only parable in which a person is named... in this case I believe it’s to honor Lazarus since he had to die (John 11) for a demonstration of God’s power in Jesus.
> Also (see verse 31) it’s an explanation that we don’t simply have a ‘blind faith’ as many believe. We have written evidence of prophecies and historic overcomes of these prophecies that give substance to our faith.

In other words, the scriptures should be as sufficient to prove Jesus is the Christ as when he raised that same Lazarus from the dead.
