Jesus has told us that we need for our salvation:
1. Faith in Jesus Christ as part of the Trinity and all God’s revealed Truths.
2. Baptism
3. The Eucharist, Consume His Body and Blood.
4. Keep His Commandments
5. Die in the state of grace (No mortal sins)
Does one have faith if they deny some of God’s Truths?
John 6:29 shreds your posts - from the Lips of Jesus The Savior Himself.
Work for your ‘salvation’ if you want to.
Billions have before you and they all failed.
Catholic fabrications and add-ons are not “God’s Truth”.
Romans 10:13- for whosover shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Titus 3:5-5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
baptism is not part of salvation it is the first step of obedience after your saved. infant baptism has unfortunately sent many people to hell by causing those people to think they are saved. babies dont know what they are doing so it doesnt mean anything.
it is all because of Jesus work on the cross and victory of death through his resurrection. the Lords supper is certainly something we are to partake of as oft as ye do. to remember what the Lord has done for us, but it has nothing to do with salvation again that would be a work.
we cant do anything to earn our way to heaven.
Must be Catholic. Maybe your Pope tells you that or your catechism, but JESUS doesn’t require all that.
Great post!
And true for all mankind.
Absolutely!
making up things not found in Scripture again I see
