A pregnant mother holding her one-year-old baby was threatened by her pastor who called the cops to have her arrested. The police said that she was "trespassing on a business" that "didn't want her there." Deirdre Hairston tells the story and shows the video clip of what happened in an interview with Dr. Taylor Marshall.

Question: So if it’s a “business”, one can go “shop” elsewhere like the SSPX, etc?
Bishop there: no, no, no, can’t do that!
Question: Okay, so then tell the priests it is to be called a church and not a business, and that the priests must be tolerant of others like they are now told to be towards LGBTQ, adulterers, etc.
So much for that old sanctuary concept they used to have. I guess that only applies to illegal aliens.
Traditional Catholics, married and don’t divorce and remarry, celibate people, people who adhere to Jesus’ words in Matthew 19:5, and 1 Cor. 6:9-10, etc, straight people, American citizens, those who legally vote, mom and pop stores, wanting free speech w/o Big Tech trying to destroy start up platforms -— all out the window now it seems.
Wow. horrifying.
Wonder how this priest would have acted if it was a black woman with her children? Or, what about 2 gay guys with their kids?
I hope she asked for the pig’s name and badge number, and I hope she sues.
For local background, that particular church is in the heart of the Oak Lawn homosexual community.
But if she wants to shop around, there is a Methodist church a few blocks south, and a Presbyterian church a few blocks north.
So no doubt the priest there had used up all his tolerance and compassion on homosexuals.
If anybody believes that the Church and the Country are not in for some tough times.....
Gee I didnt know it was against the law to take a one yo to church...
Guilty...
I think they also run a food pantry for the poor and have a school.
The former bishop showed the size of each parish on the website, but I can’t seem to locate that information at this point. It’s certainly not one of the largest parishes in the area.
I did spot the church’s rules:
In order to comply with capacity and social distancing requirements, Holy Trinity only has 50 spaces available during Mass. Each space can accomodate two people ONLY if those two people are from the same household. Currently, there is room for two people of the same household to sit together and keep social distance from others. If your household has more than two members, you will not be able to sit together due to restrictions.
The church has markers placed six feet apart in order to abide with social distancing guidelines. We ask that you ONLY sit in a place where there is a marker.
You must wear a mask to enter the church. If you do not have a mask, you will not be permitted in the building.
Your mask must stay on for you to remain in the building. Instructions for participating in communion in a safe and physically distant manner will be given during Mass.
The church will be sanitized daily. This process will keep our church clean and safe for all visitors.
As the most vulnerable of our population, if you are 65 or older, we recommend that you continue to abide by the shelter in place order and do not enter the church.

Pffffft. But the song leader doesn’t have to wear a mask?
And churches arent businesses according to CC dogma, so if they claimed to the police they are a business so they can get people tossed it was a lie.
And children pull masks off of parents faces all the time.
It was a waste of time for you to post that churches “rules” as we know it’s bull.
You admit you are a business, so will you now pay taxes?
No, because businesses can engage in politics but churches aren’t allowed to do that.
Well, the story is about a woman accused of violating that particular set of rules. So it is relevant to the controversy.
You don't post a state, so you might fall into the category of "You ain't from around these parts, is you, boy?" but there are no state or local rules requiring masks - only those made by the Bishop or parish priest. And given the Acquired Immune Deficiency of some the locals, maybe they were concerned about that.
Now, the real issue might have been that she was an apparent "cis breeder" in the wrong neighborhood (or maybe she was dressed more appropriately for Christ the King up the road a few miles than for the Oaklawn/Uptown/Turtle Creek corridor), but the "rules" were what gave the chief priest the leverage he needed. And the rules seemed to be more 'enthusiastic' than those at many of the local protestant churches (or, for that matter, some other Catholic churches in the area.)
Praying that God would move her to the church to which she belongs, convict the Priest and move him to where he cannot damage God’s children. Why didn’t the other parishioners defend her; walk out?
True. And my mention of “Sanctuary” as a concept was not a slam at my Catholic friends. All Christian faiths are under attack, and we all should want the best to return for every Christian religion out there.
