The Marshal Islands is starting a national crypto to get away from the US dollar.
“As a country, we reserve the right to issue a currency in whatever form it is, whether in digital or fiat form.”
The token is called the SOV which stands for SOVereign currency. It will be tied to the value of a US dollar for now. If the US dollar started collapsing, I supposed they'd untie it.
It’s controlled by a government. Government is the greediest, most corrupt and murderous force on Earth. It isn’t even debatable.
