WHEN I am finally in his presence, it will be because of this:
12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
A possible scenario: (And I do not even begin to claim I speak for God so let's get that straight right now)
God to MHGinTN and Ravi: "Why didn't you keep my commandments like I told you to?" I am not a respecter of persons and I treat everyone the same. And, I flat out told you that EVERYONE will be judged by my law, whether you keep it or not. It was right there in Romans. How could you have missed it? Didn't anyone bring it to your attention? And Ravi, you shouldn't have been listening to "Big Larry" No Bueno. And talking about rewards, I asked John to make it very clear that my reward is with me to give every man (and woman) according as his WORK shall be. How much clearer could it have been? And one last thing...where did you get this "Christians can sin" thing you kept tell everyone about? That didn't come from me. That and the pre trib rapture theory was all from Lucifer (he's not a dumb as you think he is)
11For there is no respect of persons with God.
12For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
13(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
We've already answered that question...Perhaps it's the wrong question...Maybe the right question is: What penalty does the born again Christian pay for sin...Which begs the question; do you mean the penalty on Earth or in Heaven...And, in the flesh or in the Spirit...
And, I flat out told you that EVERYONE will be judged by my law, whether you keep it or not. It was right there in Romans. How could you have missed it?
And you were wrong...
We didn't miss it...We just kept reading after you stopped...
Rom 2:13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
So that's you...This is us::::
Rom 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
Rom 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Can that be any more clear??? God did a switcheroo....
Rom 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
Rom 6:20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
Rom 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
Gal 2:19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
Gal 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
Why do people join a religion where you have to leave out half the bible in order for the religion to work???
Are you thinking that is talking about heaven??? Read Revelation 22. What/where is this city it's talking about? What is the river of the Water of Life flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the main street of the city? What is the purpose of "The Tree of Life" that bears twelve kinds of fruit and yielding a fresh crop for each month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations? If this is heaven, why will anyone need healing?
Scripture says, "Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by its gates. But outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood." Doesn't sound to me like heaven. Do you think cats will be allowed?
