In case you’re wondering how some religions are coping with the outbreak of COVID-19, just look to the Jehovah’s Witnesses to see how absurd reactions can get.
In a recent video featuring Governing Body member Stephen Lett, he absolutely delights in the disease because he sees it as a signal that Armageddon is imminent.
So the events unfolding around us are making clear, [more] than ever, that we’re living in the final part of the Last Days. Undoubtedly, the final part of the final part of the Last Days, shortly before the last day of the Last Days.
But the bible tells us to resist false teachings.
How do we reconcile this all variance in our minds?
...as he is in the light...
HMMMmmm...
Newspaper?
I don’t disagree with you. But, of course, Jesus Himself gave the 2 commandments that summed up all the law and the prophets, namely, love the LORD your God with everything you’ve got, your whole being, and love thy neighbor as thyself. The Jewish believers were, evidently, to follow the law of circumcision and keep the feasts. Evidently, Peter then concentrated on converting the Jews, as had originally been done. The early beginnings of different denominations, in my opinion.
A Bible teacher, whom I deeply respected, asked the LORD why there are all these different denominations. He said the LORD told him, “They are like fences; I didn’t put those fences there, man did.” It is very interesting to me that Paul and Peter got into an argument over this. They parted ways peacefully, but they obviously each still thought his own opinion was right. Won’t it be wonderful when we know ALL truth, instead of just part?
Israel and God are divorced...The church is/will be the wife of Jesus...
In support of your placing The Bema Seat of Christ / Judgment seat of Christ in Heaven and before the Tribulation: the Bema seat is where the rewards are given to the Redeemed, and the crowns they are given are on their heads as they witness the Lamb taking the seven sealed scroll to open it and release the man of sin who comes with all signs and lying wonders (Rev 5).
God will bring with Jesus those spirits of the ones who have died in Christ. Where is Jesus coming from when He comes to gather the redeemed to Himself? Where did Paul say it is to be when absent from the body, for those in Christ? You’re not in trouble, Elsie my friend, just in error. HOWEVER, the unregenerate fit your notion!... Though their spirits are aware and not in a happy state. The spirit , with or without The seed of God-life IS an eternal aspect of every descedent from Adam. Whiloe Lqazarus was being comforted the rich masn was in troment (HINT: that was no parable since, for one thing, Jesus used proper names in it)
And in support of you both: The Church is God’s unique creation. There wasn’t one before like it and when it’s raptured, there won’t be another. When Jesus spoke in the Gospels of judgment after death, it is a judgment of those who died under the law or, in the case of gentiles, without the law or a law unto themselves. There was no Church of Christ’s Body as we know it when Jesus spoke about the judgment to come. A judgment according to works under the law for Israel. This is where some other posters are getting confused and are mixing the judgment under the law program with the Church of Grace’s already-judged-and found-innocent state because of faith in Christ Jesus.
When the already-judged Church is out of here, then judgment returns as per the usual. And for those outside of the Church at any point in history, the judgment is also as per usual.
(I state all this because there are some others on this thread who are mixing the “judgment as per usual” with the already-judged members of Christ Jesus’ body who don’t come into judgment after death as they’ve already been judged in Christ Jesus and found innocent because of Him. THANK GOD!!!)
I know Elsie knows the answer to your question and that you addressed him, but that never stopped me before. (Sorry, Elsie!)
Q from MHG: Where did Paul say it is to be when absent from the body, for those in Christ?
Me: I know, I know! Pick me! Present with the Lord.

Sorry, bro. Meant to ping you and forgot!
Gittos! Hear here! Amen! Selah!
You’re not in trouble, Elsie my friend, just in error...
Frustrating, Frustrating..... (Beerfest)
Gen_2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Gen_3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
Ecc 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
Wouldn't it be nice if they put all the needed information into one paragraph???

Beautiful, Iscool!
And, yes, it would be cool, but I think God had the Bible written in the way it is to keep blind the prying eyes of those who oppose Him. I wouldn’t hang my hat on it, of course, but just a thought. I’ve always imagined that those people throw it in the trash with a smirk saying, “What gibberish!”
Gittos! (Those are ginormous dittos).
Oh. I thought it was toes used for getting somewhere quickly.
(Cheesy, I know. ;-) )
Prolly!
